Premium Screech Owl House; Rustic Handmade Owl Nesting Box

Got this as a holiday gift for my dad, their old house was falling apart and the poor owl’s butt was hanging out the bottom. Still trying to find out if this is the same owl or a different nesting pair, but it’s very exciting either way. I loved that this one has a real shingled roof and it is able to be opened up for cleaning. The wood on the front looks so real I wasn’t able to tell it wasn’t. Great craftsmanship and it looks very natural. My parents really enjoy the house and seeing the owls peep out of it. Thanks for upgrade! -Screech (the owl)

With a few minor glitches in the delivery process, our boxes finally arrived. Not only are they very well made, they blend in beautifully to our rural habitat of our property. Our first screech owl box was successful and owls moved in and bred, but the owl box itself wasn’t made well at all and did not have a side opening to clean it out. Uncle Dunkel’s boxes are incredible! Bigger than our original, they will provide a very comfortable living environment for the 2-4 babies that may live in this box until they leave the box. The other box we had was so narrow and had 4 fledglings in it. We saw that one of the fledglings almost dies because there wasn’t enough room for 4 babies to live inside. These boxes look to be an ideal size for the number of babies that screech owls might have. And the clean ability factor is a great touch. We will definitely purchase more boxes from this company. These boxes are awesome and so sturdy! He also provides the installation screws and the bedding material!

We are delighted with our owl house! It is beautifully made, sturdily put together and appears to be weather-proof. The bark on the front of the house perfectly matches that of our tulip poplar tree. We looked out our window this morning to see the head of a screech owl peering out. Owlets can’t be far behind!

Still waiting for the owls

The Uncle Dunkel Owl house is made with great craftmanship and high quality materials. It's sturdy, durable and the face of the house is made from real tree bark, which is aesthetically pleasing. There's an adjustable side panel that makes the house easy to clean and restock with pine shaving or leaves. Overall, it's a great way to help nature and improve your yard.

Here is my owl in the old house that had too large of an entrance. He’s going to love the new penthouse location with this owl house. This house is beautiful and the craftsmanship is excellent. I saw this owl house and I knew it was the one I wanted. It’s the best house I’ve ever seen .
