Can be used to replace lost cover, but......
I replaced the cover on my 2015 KIA Optima with this, but it took some work. Here’s how I did it. First though, it is designed to be stuck to a flat roof for decoration. I gave 4 stars for adhesion and easy to install because it probably is if you use it for this, but since I purposed it differently I can’t honestly say.OK back to the replacement use case. I unscrewed the base that came with it and the other pieces to get down to just the plastic cover. If you want to cover the base of a previous install you won’t need it anyway. After you do this, the cover still won’t fit over your old base because of the the 3 poles that come down inside of it that the screws from the base would go into. You want to make these shorter so it can fit over the base that is still attached to you roof. I got a pen knife and stuck the point into each one and moved it like I was whittling it. Then after it weakened from hollowing, I carefully broke the stems off with needle nose pliers. There might be a different way to do this, but I didn’t want to rush and crack the plastic cover or chance damaging it. Took me a few minutes to do this but it worked. Then I slide the cover over the base on my roof to see if it fit snug. If it doesn’t you might have to wireless the poles down more until it does.Once it fits, take it off and get some sand paper. You want to scuff the edge on the inside of cover because you are going to glue it to the base on your roof. This is similar to plumbers scuffing pvc pipe before gluing together. You will also want to scuff the hard rubber plastic of the base attached to your roof - be careful not to scratch your roof with the sandpaper. After you have both parts scuffed/sanded you are going to put super glue on the inside edge of the cover (put a little extra near the front) and you are also going to put some glue around the edge of the base where the cover will go over. I used Loctite glue. If you use something else just make sure the type can be used for ABS plastic which is what the cover is made out of. I then let it dry in my garage over night, although it supposedly sets in a few minutes.Couple notes - I glued it on because this is the only way I could figure to do it without removing the base from my rough since the original screws into cover from under it. Also, I didn’t connect the wire that is attached inside this cover to anything since it appears the unit doesn’t need it. Maybe some other radios might. I’ve been running it and getting signal like before without issue.I’ve had this cover on for almost 2 months and have driven over 3,000 miles mostly highway and it hasn’t come off. My only regret is maybe I should have just gotten a black one for accent since the silver doesn’t quite match the silver of my car, but at a quick glance it’s hardly noticeable. Hope this helps.

Not what's in the picture, doesn't fit 2014 sonata
Don't buy this product if you're just trying to replace a lost fin your car came with , this will not work , this is used to convert older antennas into a fin

NOT universal - check your Vin# first
Call a dealership or double check your VIN number before ordering this item. It is not universal and does not fit all. I have a 2016 and it did not fit my roof antenna. The durability seems to be pretty good for $10. If you’re in a bind and need a cover and it will fit your car, this will do. Not meant to last more than a few years.

Fits Hyundai Sonata !
Fits Hyundai Sonata ! I cutoff the inside screw mounts and just glued over the existing mount with 3M emblem adhesive. I tried others and this is the best fitting like original. 👍🏼
