You need plenty of bigger batteries
I am on the Milwaukee platform so I had plenty of large batteries for it, but it is a beast I have had no problems with it.

Awesome saw
This is an awesome saw for quick cutting jobs. Any thing longer than 5 min straight cut and the battery overheats. Other than that great product.

Pretty decent cutoff saw
This is a great cutoff saw for small jobs. Based on the M18 Fuel system tools we use regularly we wanted to try this out to see if it would work. it does, but don't expect to do a lot of production work with it. Cutting off a bolt, small rebar or score cutting a small concrete section is what this can handle. We still use the gas powered stuff if we have a lot of work to do, but it makes the occasional odd job a lot easier.

Very very poor performance
It looks very nice but it eats 12volt 15Ah batteries in less than a minute and 80% of the time smokes them, not usable to do anything. I have tried using brand new batteries or 1 year old batteries it has smoked 4 so far. Look elsewhere

Works well with one exception.
The hose attachment doesn't allow water to pass through to the blade, so I have to run the hose on the concrete surface as an alternative to keeping the blade wet.I called the Milwaukee service center and they sent me a new attachment, but it doesn't allow water through it as well.

This saw is not worth the money .
The fact that you can only use there blades makes it b.s. 9inch blade are proprietary to the saw and you have to order 1 everytime you need one because no one sells them .it also melts the prongs on the $325.00 each battery's that it takes to run it for 10 min at most .every other tool own from millwaukee is awsome but this saw sucks .I have $1000 bucs in a gas saw and $2500.00 into this saw and there is no comparison! Gas rules!

Not a good product for Milwaukee
I have all m18 fuel tools as a contractor but Milwaukee missed this. One of the only failures in there line. Do not but
