We have an extra thick Aireloom mattress and prefer the look of low, minimal beds. This frame is perfect. Since the frame doubles as the box spring, it's nice and low while keeping the mattress off the floor. And there's no ugly box spring to hide. The frame itself is basically invisible. It's sturdy, doesn't squeak, super easy to put together (literally took 5 minutes), and comfortable! Doesn't bounce or sag. It's also great if you have kids or for getting up in the middle of the night -- no pesky frame to nail your shins on. The price tag is so good I was worried it would feel cheap and flimsy -- it doesn't. Super quick delivery and the box was manageable for one person to scoot inside the house themselves. The only con I can think of is that if you're the headboard type, there's no official way to attach one. With the height of the bed being so low the odds of finding a headboard to match might be slim, maybe adding a wall mounted one would be a better option. This frame would easily work with any interior decorating style since it is so unassuming.

This bed frame is awesome! It sits lower to the ground which is great for the next step after a toddler bed for your little lady or man. Very sturdy metal. All it took was unfolding the frame and screwing on the metal legs. Easy, sturdy and worth it!

My son who is almost 2 sleeps with us on the bed.We used to put mattress on the floor but I wanted to get very low profile one so mold won’t grow on the bottom of the mattress.We love this frame. Very easy to assemble and sturdy.it’s the perfect height that my son can climb and down by himself.

LOVE this bed frame! SO simple to put together, just open it like a book, then twist in the 4 legs. It reduced the height of my elderly mothers bed by about 3 inches which was just enough that now she can much more easily get into it. Very sturdy and looks high quality. This will last a long time and is great with how thick many mattresses are these days.

I needed a low profile frame to get my son bed off the ground and this fits the bill. There were mix reviews, but I took the chance. There wasn’t that many simple slim option available at the time. This bed frame was light weight and easily assembled. Took about 10min to get everything going. I can see where the concern are coming from. The frame was practically package in a card board box with no type protection. Hence the many reviews of folks receiving a damage product. Overall it seems to hold up for a 6years old, no squeaking.

My wife and kids- we all sleep together and we switched from two- 14 inch platform bedframes with Queen mattresses that I placed side by side so we could all sleep together. I selected the 5 inch platform due to our son fell off the 14 inch platform Twice in early morning wakeup and scared my wife and i to look for a different solution.( yes we have a crib and small toddler bed that he refuses to sleep in.)Bullet points below-The Zinus Platform 5 inch bedframe is sturdy for the four of us sleeping - it looks light weight but its hell of strong.There is a little bit of extra frame that is noticeable when looking at it however since there is no pointy corners on the frame I didn't think the extra material mattered too much as all rounded corners were a plus on this bedframe.Its the only 5 inch Platform frame out there on the market and Zinus is a reputable company for beds and frames.Note: depending on your mattress will determine how tall your bed will sit on this frame. as for us the kids sleep sleep on a 10 inch mattress and the other mattress is a 12inch. to keep these two platform frames together I used heavy duty zip ties and basically butted both beds together against the wall. now no hear of the kids falling off the bed when I'm dead tired.I did wish the cost factor would of been around the same as the 14 inch and 12 inch platform bedframes Zinus sold. don't understand why this has a slightly larger markupbut over all I am satisfied

I noticed in most of the reviews it was mentioned that the frame seem to be bigger than the mattress. I have a queen size bed and bought a full size frame. It works perfectly. The mattress is only about 2 inches bigger on all sides. Plus, the size is cheaper. It was very easy to assemble. I was able to put it together in less than five minutes, by myself.

Extremely simple to assemble. I originally recruited my husband to help me set it up, but once we got it done I couldn’t believe how easy it was! Could have done it myself no problem. You basically unfold the frame and pop a few brackets on and screw on the legs. It was the lowest bed frame I could find and works perfect for my daughter that we just switched from crib to bed.
