The best
The best harness I've ever used. This was the first one I ever used that has that wraparound front strap. All the others went around the neck. To be honest, it was because I doubted this design for whatever reason, but it's really good. Every time I take my girl out I reach for this. Her regular collars haven't been used since I got this. It's a great harness.

Velcro upgrade
This replaces my previous D&T harness that is 10 years old & still going strong. I love the quality of these harnesses!! The new version has Velcro straps attached (something I added to the original) for holding stuff (leashes, etc...). Bought an XL & Medium because I have another puppy & I don't want them to be jealous of each others things.

Harness works well with lots of heavy use
I rarely write reviews, but this combination of products deserves a well done. Our dog is a neutered, rescued 70 lb. American Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer mix, so she is high energy and extremely strong. My daughter is a marathoner and the rest of the family runs and bikes a lot. So between all of us Mollie runs 25 - 35 miles per week and when we're on bikes the first two miles are at a fast mountain bike speed. (If we don't take her on a run in the morning then she goes into the backyard and does "boxer burn" sprints on her own.)We have used the DT Harness for about three months with a Petego Walky Dog Hands-Free Bicycle Leash (about six months) Petego Walky Dog Hands-Free Bicycle Leash . The bungee and spring in the Petego keep Mollie from pulling the bike over if she pulls to the side. (Dogs barking unexpectedly through a fence.) Though it is an expensive combination, the Walky Dog and DT Harness have worked extremely well. The DT Harness has worked significantly better than the previous harness made from narrow gauge straps - there is no chafing and we're less concerned that it might break. After reading other reviews we've modified our setup for more stable riding and increased safety in case the harness or Walky Dog breaks,* Extended Bungee Cord - The bungee cord that comes with the Petego was too short. It kept her too close to the bike. We bought an 18" bungee that we loop through the end of the Petego to give a 9" extension. This also adds increased shock absorption.* High Quality Carabiner - The spring in the carabiner clip that came with the Petego bike walker broke. We replaced the carabiner with a larger, higher quality carabiner that cost about $8.* Safety Rope - We added a thin nylon rope, 100? - 200?# strength, that clips to the side loop on the DT Harness and then weaves through the bungees and around the bike seat pole. We had a cheap carabiner break once so this keeps Mollie to the bike even if the bungee or carabiner breaks.American Pit Bull Terriers are very smart and extremely family friendly, although some APBTs have "issues" with other dogs. By her second ride Mollie understood how to run with bike. By about her fourth she had learned the verbal commands "heel right" and "heel left" so she knew how to position herself when going around a fast corner. This has been a great system for getting the entire family out and enjoying the outdoors. BTW: Mollie is lying at my feet right now sleeping after a hard morning bike/run with the family. Love it!

Best in show
I have never taken the time to write a review before. However I am so impressed with this harness that I feel I must. I would have given it a 5 star rating if the listing had been more accurate and if I had not had to rely on the comments (thank you all!) when choosing size.need -looking for a solidly built harness that would not irritate my dog's skinbackground -I purchased a size small for my 52lb pit/shephard mixShe is a puller when she sees people or animals but walks well on harness and leashShe has short sparse fur on her belly and under her front legs that is easily rubbed to skin and other harnesses were causing her serious irritationupon receipt -harness was as advertised. A solidly built harness that fit my dog well and did not rub her fur off during use.I paid particular attention to the comments regarding the plastic side buckle and found them really unfounded. Yes, it is plastic but very high density and HUGE. It is very sturdy. I have seen other collars and harnesses with metal clasps or buckles that I felt were much less sturdy. Metal does not automatically = better/stronger. The fabric, stitching and overall construction are top notch.SIZE SIZE SIZE -I am very thankful for all of the commenters who discussed sizing. Unlike most other harnesses which seem geared for smaller dogs with a nod to larger dogs thrown in this is clearly a harness for larger dogs. My dog is 50lbs and fit comfortably in the small. Typically she is a large or medium (for Premier products). I did not find Tyler and Dean's sizing charts or customer service did a good job in pointing me to the correct size. The sizing chart and CS said to "add two fingers". If I had done that for sizing or fitting she should have been swimming in the harness, even the small. She is a very muscular/fit dog with short hair so perhaps it would be different for a dog that has a lot of hair.final thought -If you are looking for a harness and can afford it GET THIS ONE! If you are looking for a harness and can't afford this one, save your money and GET THIS ONE!I have been through almost a dozen harnesses and none are even close to this one.

Dean & Tyler Harness Large
Superb product - so easy to put on and off - using for a 80 lb long hair German Shepherd - has taken all kinds of road grime, swimming, it washes easily - so far all stitching is holding - nothing is "broken" I've been out for about 3 hrs a day in all kinds of weather (Ottawa, Canada) - 40 celcius with wind chill - the buckles did not like many other products crack from the cold. I've been using it a year now. I recommend and have recommended this harness to many - the handle makes walks heaven -she's free, someone approaching - hold handle - pass - she's free again....

Bon Produit
Harnais de très haute qualité, cependant attention de bien prendre les mesures, délai de réception un peu long (USA) un peu cher, mais prix justifié. En suite quel plaisir d'utilisation et facile à mettre sur mon Labrador je le recommande vivement.
