Great trees
I have five acres with no trees and these were a good option. I picked up four hybrid poplars from Lowe's and planted them which ran me about $30 a piece by growing them from cuttings this gives me more for my money. I look forward to planting them next season . My purchase through CZ grain has exceeded my expectations so far everything that I have ordered has grown and sprouted not a single bum cutting I would highly recommend this company. I ordered 10 hybrid poplars and received 13 all 13 have sprouted. Two of them took a little bit longer but will be put in soil this weekend. 11 are in soil recommended by CZ grain and are thriving. I ordered 10 hybrid Willows all have sprouted and are in the same soil that was recommended by CZ grain. I also ordered two Curly Willow cuttings and received four all four are rooting and leaves are sprouting so far everything is perfect with the purchase, and I am beyond happy. The picture above is one month after receiving the cuttings. Thank you so much CZ grain for fast delivery and viable cuttings. Update: still doing very well. 3rd picture is @ 4 months. 6 transplanted so far in 7 gal grow bags since they were outgrowing thier pots.

HORRIBLE!!!
I would give a negative zero if I could. The sticks they sent never grew. I contacted customer support who said give it more time. Coincidentally was enough time where I couldnt get a refund. I tried to contact support again but got no response.

Patience and Attention = Success
Delivered in great time and included 13 cuttings. March 11 I put them all in a glass with water for about 2 weeks. Within that time Roots grew on 11, and 10 had leaves pop out, 1 had a small bud and 2 had no leaves and no roots. I planted them all on March 23 with plenty of drainage and watered them everyday. By April 4 the little bud had sprouted, but 2 still had nothing. April 11 I found leaves on one and the other seemed to be rooted, so I left it alone. April 13 I found a small bud on the last stick! All have leaves and are doing really well! Thank you!

3 out of 10
Ummm 3 out of 10 unfortunately. The 3 are struggling. I thought I followed instructions correctly, placed in clear glass vessel, change water when needed but they were stubborn to root. The 3 possible fingers crossed. But I’m hanging on to the 7 maybe they will come around.

Sticks not trees
These are NOT trees, they are sticks or branches. No roots not leaves nothing. I ordered 20 they came in a small yellow envelope (all 20 of them) tied together. Basically a handful of sticks around 7 inches long. I highly doubt they grow. We will see. I Do Not Recommend these.

If growth is a race, these are first place
A great product to learn from and get the opportunity to showcase success in your yard. Nearly a 100% germination rate, with very rapid growth following development of roots. It has been 3 years since rooting began; trees are now about 12 ft tall with deep maroon leaves the size of my hand. Don't let the diameter of the cuttings get you down, they have grown from a pencil into a baseball bat in just a few years.

Started off strong, no survivors after planting.
Updated Review What started off pretty exciting and promising turned doom and gloom and left me feeling pretty bummed out that none of the trees survived planting. If there’s one thing that I did during this entire process is, I followed the directions to the T and that includes how I rooted them in the bucket Down to watching the video on the product page on how to plant the trees. However, even with the stringent attention to the details, none of them survived. I live in Phoenix where the weather is nice year round so I didn’t think that I would have any issue with them growing. Looks like I’m going to have to go back to the chopping block to figure out what to do for some privacy and shade on a happier personal note. I had a really successful winter harvest with lots of broccoli, radishes beats, bell peppers, and tomatoes so I’m thankful for that. If anyone has any recommendations, I’m open to suggestions. Original Review I’m very pleased so far with the hybrid trees that I purchased I think that they are going to be a wonderful addition to my backyard and provide all of the shade and privacy that I’m looking for. When I first got them, I was a little skeptical because it did look just like I was sent twigs But the cuttings really do grow into healthy looking little trees. I ordered a pack of 10 and received 12 of them so that was pretty cool and I would say that I’ve had extremely great success with eight of them while four of them are still growing a bit. Key to this is going to be patience while waiting for them to root and grow foliage. It’s recommended toput it in a bucket for two weeks. I’ve had them in for six weeks with a grow lamp and saw some really good success from it. I will update you all after I plant them And give an update to the success of their growth.
