Works great
Great for a repair especially when you don't have a needle and thread handy. Hubby used a button attacher similar to this when he was in the Navy. Since then he has looked for a replacement. I purchased this model based on the reviews. This model is easy to use however they don't include very detailed instructions with the unit. I watched a video on YouTube to see how to insert the nylon Attache. It's easy to use once you view the video.

NOT A GOOD PRODUCT!
Actually, I need to return. The 1st one I purchased worked for awhile. Then the needle would shoot out and finally bent. But it did do a nice job probably on the 1st 50 fasteners. I threw this one in the trash! I am making seven curtain valances with pleats, so I really was excited to get this item. I then ordered a 2nd one hoping that it would work and I could get all the pleats finished. It has broken every fastener that I tried to do! Can not tell you how disappointed I am in this product!

Better than some reviews
I agree with what most other reviewer‘s wrote. The instructions are a little lacking and the product is a little disappointed if you’re expecting to use it as a permanent solution. To attach a button temporarily in a pinch it works well

Not what I hoped for
I had a similar product years ago, I believe it was a Buttonear, that worked okay but I thought I would try this product. First off, the instructions are poorly written and illustrated. Luckily I was able to figure it out based on my previous product. The product would only work on very thin buttons and fabric. If I attempted to use it on anything thicker, the plastic tie wouldn’t penetrate. The plastic ties are way more flimsy than the ones I used in the past, they break easily.

I would recommend it to a friend
The Attache' Instant Button Attacher has worked well in attaching buttons to the front and sleeves of casual shirts. The negative is the plastic ends of the fasteners (I used two fasteners/button inserted diagonally) protrude on the inside of the thin shirt fabric and scratch the skin. To overcome this issue, I covered the plastic ends on the inside with a mend and repair pressure sensitive nylon patch that adheres to the shirt fabric (can be purchased at a fabric store or fabric department or online) which I cut into a square. Then, I cut another square slightly larger to place over the first patch to give some thickness. The double patch stopped the scratchy skin problem and also is not visible to the eye. You can also trim the plastic ends on the outside of the buttons with fingernail clippers so that the tips of the fastener ends do not protrude over the button's rim. Thus, with a little ingenuity, it has performed well for my use. I would recommend it to a friend.

It was delivered promptly and well packaged. I will do business with this seller again and will buy their products without hesitation. If you are interested in this product, I would recommend that you buy it from this seller. You will be satisfied.

Worst thing since mint ice cream...AND I HATE MINT ICE CREAM
This was probably the most useless tool I've ever bought from Amazon. The tool attempts to push a plastic pin through your material (shirt, blouse, small mammal) and through a button, and the pin unfolds at an angle to hold the button and the material together. AFTER ABOUT 785 pins, six holes in my thumb, and screaming MOMMY for an hour, I finally attached TWO buttons. Useless, totally useless.

Button Attacher works, needs better instructions.
Plastic attachments are obvious, but button is held in place. Buttoneer keeps attachment wings hidden. Can use to make hem repair. Poor instructions, took 15 minutes of trial an error to figure it out. If not done properly device won't work.
