Used this in my bathroom so I don’t have to have my Echo Dot on the counter. This is a very simple space saving design. I couldn’t find anything wrong with it.The only thing that would have made this slightly better, is some sort of bump on the back at the bottom, or some sort of included bumpers to stick on the back, which would compensate for the gap created between the wall and the holder itself; this way when you manually press the buttons, the device won’t push / tilt towards the wall. That can be easily remedied using some small furniture pads that go underneath chair legs.

The media could not be loaded. For $6 this is a great wall mount. I bought this to put an Echo Dot in my Garage. I have a smart garage door opener so I use the Echo to open and close it. Almost no one mentions but the sound is muffled. The Echo dot speaker points down. So when you mount this, it points towards the wall. Also the back plate blocks the speaker. One guy said he drilled some holes to fix this. I will try this because I got it so cheap but I shouldn't have to. 4 stars if you're willing to drill holes under the mount!

Shipped in a box, not in an envelope like others. Not as nice as the one I bought in '22 , but much better then another one I bought that came broken. Easy to install and works almost as good as the older one I have. The older one kept the wire hidden behind it and had a spacer that kept the item pressed flat against the wall as it hung from the outlet. This one doesn't have that spacer but still hangs nicely and does what it's suppose to.

They clearly show the shape of plug this fits. The description also reads that this is for the square plug, only. I was able to hang mine upside down. It’s a little top-heavy so I rigged something for a little extra support to keep it from falling forward. I’ll upgrade that but it works great! I tucked the end that is inserted into the echo through the bottom, first. Then I wound the cord through the guides in the back, clicked the echo into it, similar to a phone case, plugged it in & done. Love it! Only took a few minutes for the winding.
