Ariat Men's RigTEK Wide Square Toe Waterproof Composite Toe Work Boot

Excellent boots. This is my second pair. They are comfortable for work. They are worth buying. Ariat is an incredible brand.

Wore these boots pretty much every day for the past year. I work in streets and sanitation, pushing asphalt, doing sewer repairs, water main repairs and plowing snow through the winter. These have been exposed to every weather condition possible for Midwest seasons. These boots survived rock salt build up, being completely submerged in mud, completely submerged in water, and worn day in and day out. The texture on the bottom of soles started separating from the sole earlier today, work told me buy a new pair due to our insurance and submit for reimbursement. These lasted longer than the redwings they normally would buy us. The reviews saying these boots don’t last are not the experience I had with them. I did however clean them and oil them monthly or as needed to keep them in good condition. I also used a boot dryer if they got soaked. They’re scuffed up after a year of use, and the leather did start cracking. But I also wear one pair of Boots at a time and they were on my feet 16-18 hours a day. These survived work, walking a dog 2-3 miles a day, long shifts and long drives. I would buy again. I did have to go half a size down from my normal size for these to fit how I’d like them to. My experience is they are water proof (unless the water is deeper than the boot is tall), the slip resistance is good. I didn’t have the leather split on the steel toe like I had happen on every other boot I’ve worn.

Full time superintendent and I typically go through a set of boots per project. I have run the gambit with work boots and this is my third pair of Ariats and I am super pleased. They are tough, true to size, low break in time, look great and priced well below their worth. The composite toe is well worth the money. I have a very high arch so these boots, coupled with a quality pair of inserts make for a comfortable day.

The boots are durable and extremely comfortable. They have great arch support and are really good at keeping moisture/water out. However, I didn’t give a five-star rating because, after a month of daily use, the right boot developed a loud squeak. Despite cleaning them regularly with the recommended shoe grease, the squeak persists. I’m determined to find a solution, as I love wearing them.

My husband loves the boots I ordered him for work. They’re great quality and he said they are comfortable. True to size and the stitching is so beautiful !

boots are fine once they are on but the liner is not sewn down and it is pain in the A$$ to get them off... if your feet are wet/damp forget about getting them off without swearing a lot above was day one, these boots are Chinese junk...

Update: Although the boots are still in great shape, due to a small crack in the sole, they are not deemed safe for the position he holds at work so we bought another pair. I got these for my husband a little over a year ago and he wears them to work every day. They are just now starting to wear some. Would definitely recommend.

All around wicked boot ! Awesome for working in the oil sands! My go to boot ! Very comfortable and waterproof !

Took about a week to break in, comfortable after that. Highly suggest using the size guide on the Ariat website, these will not be true to your shoe size. Been wearing for 4 weeks now, waterproofing is good and the boots are warm (only wearing thin socks). Lots of compliments, I wear them out in public often. Would buy again

Love these boots very durable and water proof, wore them all winter as a foreman of a road crew working in the mountains and never once a wet sock
