3 weeks back and forth to work is all I got for my £230. Rode it home a couple of days ago about an hour after it had stopped raining. Plugged it in to charge and the headlight started flashing. Opened up the baseplate to find a huge mess. Water everywhere. Label stuck on the battery saying "No warranty. This label turns red when it meets water." The road was barely damp, but somehow the scooter was filled with enough water to leave a puddle on the floor when opened.It seems it's designed this way intentionally; there's a small gap at the back of the baseplate in exactly the right spot for spray to ingress from the back wheel. I suspect they do this on purpose to invalidate the warranty as soon as possible after purchase, since it would literally take a penny's worth of silicon to prevent this.In addition, two of the nuts for the bolts attaching the handlebars to the base had come off completely and were rattling around loose inside the baseplate, and the other two were very loose. Presumably the thing would have just fallen apart mid-journey given another few weeks.Don't waste your money.

I've previously used the Xiaomi type scooters and the Kirin is a definite engineering improvement.The two key improvements over the xiaomi are the folding mechanism and the rear kick-brake.The Xiaomi folds at the neck and needs to clip onto the rear fender to carry; it's not that robust; but the Kirin has a solid (and I mean SOLID) metal hinge that folds the front wheel and stem away from the deck and locks it in place. You can then carry the scooter by the stem. This is important for me as I use my scooter to commute and need to take it on the London Underground; portability needs to be as simple and secure as possible and the Kirin is much better than the xiaomi in this regard.The next big improvement is the rear fender on the xiaomi was easily damaged. It was there just to stop debris being thrown up by the wheel and would snap if stepped on. The kirin rear fender is designed to be stepped on as a physical brake and works a charm.There is only one area where the xiaomi beats the kirin and that is in ride smoothness. The kirin uses solid wheels rather than pneumatic tyres; this makes the ride less smooth, but it also makes the wheels more hard wearing and durable.Overall, the Kirin feels like it was engineered to last. The performance is great and the range is impressive, but the build quality makes this scooter the best-in-class.

Live in Sheffield ordered and arrived 2 days early within a week and it was posted from Poland. Cane well packed.You have to fit the handles with 4 screws and Alan key provided and connect the plug which is all very simple and takes 2 mins to do.Is a very good quality robust built scooter and motor is very quiet and scooter runs smooth and fast.Installed app on iPhone using Phone camera to point at code on the handle bars. The app is easy to use and good. To Connect to your phone click the Bluetooth sign in the app next to the address bar where it says “where to?”, once connected it’s very easy to use.The charger has a cable with Europe plug on it So u will need a adaptor or u can fit a Uk plug on it. I had a old sky box cable that I plugged Into the charger instead. Old cassette player and DVD players have the same cable you can use.It’s a very good scooter for the price, my nephew paid more then twice as much for one from Halfords and this is just as good if not better.

First off, the scooter shipped extremely fast and we received it quicker than expected.Now to speak about the scooter itself, amazing electric scooter!!Light & easy to carry with the folding design,there is no uphill battle when riding this scooter. As described, this scooter has no issue climbing steep hills. As long as you are following the city laws, this scooter provides a feeling of safety and fun all in one. Would recommend for a beginner or experienced scooter rider. Can't wait to explore more on my scooter.

Best scooter on the market, beats all top brands by miles! Overall amazing electric scooter for the price as well, can’t complain! Carries me and my partner to work without issues. I’m 60kg and she’s 50kg. Folding mechanisms is slick and easy. While riding the scooter it feels like you’re going quicker than 15mph. The brake is very very very sharp and you need to get used to it. The little screen sometimes hard to see in the sun. It’s very light compared to other electric scooters as well which makes it easier for me to commute to work. The cruise control is an incredible feature and most other electric scooters do not have this. Overall 10/10. Don’t hesitaste to buy! It was shipped all the way from Poland and came so quick the tracker in the UK didn’t even update quick enough to tell me it was in England.Update November 2020: riding everyday since July. Rear fender / back brake snapped in first few weeks, still awaiting a replacement. Electronic brake stopped working and non-stop alarm sound since it stopped working.

Do not buy this product!!!! Everything about this scooter is questionable, the front wheel came off 3 months after purchase and I have only ride it a Few times due to lockdown and the customer service aspect of this scooter is absolutely terrible to put it politely. Very dangerous scooter and i would advise everyone not to buy this product at all, there are much better scooters in this price range

I bought this useless product recently, after I bought I never used this continuously because it had so many problems one after another. so many times I sent it to the seller for repair. He will repair that and send it me , then for few days it work but after that again another problem will come. So, again you need to send it back to seller. And again he would repair that and send it to you. This process continuous still now. Now again, its not working properly, switching off automatically and now the return window is closed. The money which I earned by working my ass off, got wasted totally. So never buy this product. If you want to waste ur money, you can go head.
