Functional, very good quality / workmanship as well as beautiful.
I purchased this to use as a throw in our home in Florida. It is quite a bit larger than the typical size of a throw (it's a true twin size), but that's okay. It is the perfect weight for sub-tropical weather as it doesn't have any quilting material between the two layers. Just the right weight to lightly cover us. Now to the beauty aspect: both my husband and I love the gorgeous patterns in the fabric. The one we purchased is all kinds of shades of yellows. We also purchased a queen sized similar cover/blanket/spread in another group of colors for our RV from the same company or distributor. Different patterns, but the same weight and quality. I highly recommend this and any of the other spreads from this distributor. I intend to wash both very gently, and air dry them. They seem durable, but I'm still going to be cautious so they will last a long time.
