Such a great idea-works great on stamps too.
My dad gave me a roll of this tape years ago and I wasn't sure I could replenish it when it ran out but this is exactly what I wanted. If you need to reuse a postage stamp it is great too.

Sticks great without the mess of glue
I've used this for years. Its not really tape. its adhesive that's extruded onto a liner and transfers to whatever surface you roll it onto. An ATG gun or other appropriate dispenser is a necessity for ease of use although you can stick it down and then pick at the liner with your fingernails. I use it in place of glue for photos, adhering business cards to promotional literature, etc. Its great on paper because it doesn't soak in and wrinkle the surface. Not good for repositioning so get it right the first time.

Specialty Double Sided Adhesive Tape
If you've never used adhesive transfer tape like this before it will seem weird. Unlike the more common foam double sided sticky tape this is just a thin layer of adhesive on a peel away separator tape. The adhesive is thin, unlike the foam type tape so it doesn't do well with gaps and very rough surfaces. The whole point of this tape is that it is thin so it adds almost no thickness to the pieces stuck together.I got this primarily to temporarily hold a pair of Micarta knife scales back to back while I did the preliminary shaping and drilling before mounting them to the knife blade. It worked perfect for that. Note that this adhesive is pretty strong and you probably shouldn't fully line the pieces to be stuck together with the tape because it is not easy to separate - I used a twisting motion and then "Goof Off" solvent cleaner to remove the adhesive residue. Just a couple of smaller pieces would have been easier and strong enough. You cut off a piece of the adhesive transfer tape with its liner from the roll (it does not tear easily) and stick that to the surface you want to stick something to. Then you peel off the special release paper lining (much thicker than the adhesive itself). Then you stick the item to the surface you want to mount it to. It works best on solid smooth surfaces. The adhesive is strong and thin and adds very little thickness to the joint between the items stuck together. It's neater and quicker than spreading glue and then cleaning up the mess and waiting for it to set or dry (this is useable immediately). The good - It's ideal for some tasks like holding things together that have smooth backs where they join. And it's quicker and less messy than glue. It's pretty strong used this way.The trade off - It's kind of unique to use with a slight learning curve. It isn't for very rough or uneven surfaces where a foam type double sticky tape would be better. All in all, it's great for certain applications.

Its snot tape..
...sticks to what its supposed, sticks to what its not supposed to. This is just standard ATG tape, works great.

Received 1 Roll, NOT "Pack of 12" per description
The product description says "Pack of 12" which I took to mean 12 rolls of tape. My order arrived and there was 1 Roll of tape. Thus, (1) This tape is very expensive and there is an error in the desciption, as there is no "Pack of 12" of anything, or (2) I did not receive my order.

Not as sticky as I'd hoped
I bought this to try to re-adhere a graphic overlay with membrane keypad in my beverage fridge that had begun to peel away on one end. It was not strong enough to hold it in place. I should have bought 3M, but cheaped out. I'm sure it is good for many applications, but it did not meet my needs.
