Nice welder
I welded up a 20ft boat trailer from scratch and tacked it all together then welded non stop for about 4 hours and never tripped old house breakers that all my other welders have tripped. Easy starts steady arc. I like it. Taking it with me to the Philippines because the $500 welder I bought there crapped out after 1 small gate repair. Least I know I'll have a solid welder there now. After several jobs done with it in the Philippines I absolutely love this welder. Really impressed. Welded some 20 gage steel on 20amp. Never welded something that thin before and definitely didn't think a stick welder could do it. Used 7018 1/16 rods. Well worth the price.

Amazing quality and portability!
The build quality of this littler welder is fantastic. I had an easier time burning rods on this ESAB than I do at work with the big Miller's and Lincolns. The Hot Start and Arc Force are easily adjustable, creating a nice easy start, holding a tight arc and prevented me from sticking rods!It also is very efficient and the amperage is very accurate. Maybe 90-95% ...that is one of the biggest pros to this machine. The only con I have is that I wish it came with a case. Oh well, they sell it separately, so that'll be my next purchase!Love this ESAB!

Where have you been all my life
180 pro arrived today and I was very skeptical because it is the 4th inverter welder I have purchased in a year with little expectation due to every inverter I read up on was top notch real Mccoy. I plugged into 120 ext cord and set amps to 100. I ran a 8010 5/32"!!! What the heck is the 240v gunny do, wow

Awesome. Machine!
I'm a millwright and have used a lot of 110 stick machines for quick repairs fast. This is far and away THE BEST I've ever ran! I used it running 1/8 " 7018 at 115 amps on a 20 amp 110 circuit in my garage plugged into a 50' 14ga 3wire extension cord. Burn a full rod clean up run anotherAwsome.

No customer support 7/6/2022
When this welder arrived there was a screw rolling around in the bottom of the box. I noticed that there were two holes in the bottom of the machine with screws missing. I called customer support and spoke with Anthony. He was a bit hesitant about how to proceed. I sent him pictures of the missing screw holes a week ago. This is my first welder. What I am afraid of is internal parts being loose. Because the unit is under warranty, opening it up to examine what the screws attach to can mess up the warranty. I called ESAB back on 7/9/2022 and asked for Anthony to call me back. Nothing. It is now 4.5 hours later. No phone call. No email. It is an $800 dollar welder that has never been used. Unbelievable! I bought this because of ESAB's reputation. Update 7/10/22: After I put in a request for a refund the seller (the dealer), not ESAB corporation, called me wanting the fix the issue. I'm done. Its is going back. I won't be purchasing an ESAB welder. If I am having this many problems getting customer support for a piddling two screws what is going to happen when I am actually having real problems with the welder? ESAB has still never contacted me to provide me information after my two customer support calls plus the email I sent. It has now been 11 days. 7/18/22. It has now been 19 days. I still have never gotten a call from ESAB. I could never get ESAB's own customer support--the people who warranty their product, to speak with me about their broken product. So it got sent back to the seller. You would think that something with a three year warranty would get a reply from customer support. Nothing.
