HEALTHY & DELICIOUS!
I am TOTALLY impressed with this product and company. I just emailed them a question to find out if the product was pasteurized or cold infused, because I was curious about the nutritional quality of Mike's Hot Honey. (Pleasantly shock) I received the following response 10 minutes later, "Thanks for reaching out! We do not heat above 110 degrees F, since we use a cold infusion process for with the chilis. We don't refer to our honey as raw, but I hope that answers your question. Kind regards, Michelle" Sooo, anyone interested in knowing if the nutritional properties of the honey have been altered will be happy to know that this product contains ALL of the inherent healthy properties of honey! YAY - great news! For those worried that the product might be too spicy, I would say it is not too spicy. I find that it leaves a pleasant spicy tingle in your mouth. I agree with another reviewer that on a scale of 1-10, I'd rate it a 4. The sweetness of the honey offers a great balance to the heat. This would be great as a dip for veggies, chicken, pork chops, pizza, salmon, and any other foods that you think might benefit from a little bit of zip!!! At $8.95, Amazon's price is $2 lower than my local grocer (Giant Eagle). It does not need to be refrigerated after opening. You could store it in the fridge if it would make you feel better; however, know that it will flow best at room temp. Also, I think a little bit goes a long way. I dispense a small amount at a time to avoid wasting any precious deliciousness of this wonderful product! Anyone who likes a little bit of sweet with a little bit of spice will LOVE this product!

Kicks up you pizza several notches.
We discovered pizza with hot honey in the North End of Boston a few years ago. This products adds great flavor and depth to our homemade pizza, especially paired with soppresata or a similar meat. Just the right intensity of heat (quite mild for those prefer a strong kick).

Sweetness And Heat
Was looking forward to trying this considering the rave reviews and i'm not sorry I did. It has an interesting taste. Would I say I was blown away...no, but I wasn't disappointed either, I liked it. It tastes like honey with a kick- good quality honey. As far as hotness i'd rate the heat level about a 4-6, if 10 is the hottest, 1 the least hot. Has a nice kick to it. I'm not a huge honey fan to begin with so for me to like this says something. I can see it being good on wings. I also enjoyed it with some dairy foods, on top of it, which surprised me. Works well with things like cottage cheese and ice cream. Tried it on pizza... I prefer my pizza without it but it still wasn't bad. Overall, it makes a nice addition to your sauce collection, is versatile and can be used with many different foods. If you like honey and you like heat you will probably enjoy this.

Very tasty
This sauce is so yummy, not super spicy, just enough. Perfect with sandwiches, eggs, cold platters, etc.

Sweetness With A Kick!
WOAH and WOW! This is a solid scrumptious product! I was actually a little nervous from other reviews thinking it might be too hot for my taste buds to handle because I don't like super spicy things. I dd try it just with a spoon plain because that's how I first taste test things and it was a little too sweet, but then the kick came and I was like oh I like this. The kick is not super hot, but just enough to where you are like oh yes it's there. I made some pasta and drizzled some over the top and mixed it in. Yum Yum is all I can say! I love how it has the list of suggestions on what to put it on. That sold me and I'm one to create concoctions of my own so I want to figure out what else it will go good with. If you like sweet with hints of spicy - this will not disappoint and I would definitely recommend it.

Hot, Sweet & Sticky!
I received my first bottle of Mike's Hot Honey as a gift from a friend awhile back. Wow! Used wisely, this honey is not too hot for the heat sensitive, and adds an unusual dimension to a wide variety of foods. This is not some macho, super hot, "Dare you to try this." item. If you're a little creative in the kitchen, this can be a really useful product to have on the shelf, and will up your game a notch. I like to put 2 teaspoons into my fat free plain Greek yogurt every morning and stir it in well. Creamy, slightly sweet, and not too warm, it beats the overly sweet fruity yogurt blends hands down, and only adds 50 calories, which isn't bad at all. I've also used small drizzles across the top of my homemade pizzas, just after they come out of the oven. Sounds odd, but everyone who's eaten a slice comments on how good it tastes, and are surprised when I tell them what I did. Try sweetening your hot tea with a drizzle to add some sweetness and subtle warmth on a chilly day.Salad dressings, marinades, my list goes on. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised with where you can go with this.
