Absolutely worth it
Recommended by a coworker, and admittedly a bit outside of my usual budget. But wow was it worth it. Have not tried the ice/temperature yet as I don't like cold water. However, I found it to be leak proof, be a very solid water bottle, the mouth piece is easy to drink from. I LOVE that I can drink from it like a straw without the straw piece popping up, while also being able to chug if needed. As a teacher, I need lots of water and I drink more when I have access to a straw. But this essentially replaces two water containers: it can replace my knock-off Stanley (which was hard to keep clean and only practical for teaching) and my regular water bottle I take on bike rides or hikes.I intentionally purchased the 40oz size because I go through about twice that in a day. It's BIG. It would not balance well on a regular bike water bottle holder, but this is the size I need and I'm so happy with this purchase.Expensive, but looks easy to clean, fulfills the purpose of two previous items, and seems very sturdy. Well worth it.

Absolutely Love This Bottle – Stylish, Functional, and Keeps Drinks Cold All Day!
I recently purchased the Owala FreeSip 40 oz in Foggy Tide, and it's quickly become my favorite water bottle. The dual drinking options—a built-in straw for sipping and a wide-mouth opening for chugging—are incredibly convenient. The push-button lid with a locking mechanism ensures it's leakproof, making it perfect for on-the-go use.The triple-layered stainless steel insulation keeps my drinks cold for up to 24 hours, which is fantastic for long days out. The carry loop is a thoughtful addition, making it easy to transport, and the wide opening allows for easy cleaning and adding ice.The Foggy Tide color is sleek and modern. Overall, this bottle combines style, functionality, and durability. Highly recommend to anyone looking to upgrade their hydration game!

Why did I wait so long to try this brand?
Why have I waited to long to try this brand of water bottle? I’ve tried them all and there was always something wrong with it. THIS is going to be my go to brand from now on. The lock makes it spill and leak proof so I can put it in my bag and not worry about it. The straw or wide mouth option is amazing. The straw is not too difficult to suck - if you know you know. It keeps it at just the right temperature. Easy to grab and hold and doesn’t slip out of my hands with the slight texture on the outside. This is a quality product, well made and easy to wash. I’m so happy!

LOVE
Got this as a gift for my brother in law! Owala is just a great brand overall. Ordering from Amazon made shipping easier too. It has a functional and appealing design. From my own experience they're incredibly high quality and easy to use. The handle make it easy to grip on to the water bottle for hikes and walking around. The size is perfect it carries enough water where I'm not annoyed having to refill constantly and also not annoyed having to carry something SUPER heavy. I love that the lock feature ensures it never spills! I've had so many problems with other water bottles spilling. It's a great brand and worth the price. If you don't like the color of the cap they sell replacement ones so you can match your vibe better. FYI

Life Lesson #5,482
The media could not be loaded. Look, I'm pretty frugal.I was taught to be as smart with my money as possible. I'm not poor, but I'm not rich either, and I prioritize saving and tithing. I thrift everything, or buy it from Dollar Tree and Walmart. Why pay for something expensive when you can buy something cheap that does the job? If it gives you a cat eye, no matter how much it smudges, it's eyeliner. If it gets the dishes clean, no matter how much scrubbing you need to do, it's dish soap. If it holds water, no matter how sweaty and leaky it is, it's a water bottle. It was hard for me to justify buying anything more. But recently, I've started having a bit more flexible income to play with. Despite myself, I decided to splurge on this water bottle, since my other one started growing mold in the silicone that I couldn't keep at bay. I was intrigued by the straw/sip combo ... and I'll admit, after having one covered in rainbow-unicorn-taco stickers for so long, the sleek white look caught my eye.I filled it with ice water and drank some. Worked well enough. Liked the straw. Nice. I decided I'd keep it.I left it on my desk, top open, overnight. When I sat down 24 hours later, I grabbed it and absently took another sip, expecting a tepid drink. Imagine my shock when ice-cold water hit my tongue, and massive ice cubes still rattled noisily in the container.Boy, that stuck with me. I went out on a limb and bought some Dawn dish soap, and now I have a much easier dishwashing experience. I bought a better eyeliner, and it lasts all day when my husband and I go on a date. I actually lit one of my many candles and used a tea bag from a nice set someone gifted me instead of continuing to "save" it, and it made that day feel really special while I read my book.I guess the moral of the story is, if you're being smart and living within your means, buying something nice for yourself doesn't have to feel like a guilt trip. If you're like me, and you tend to use things until they are completely finished instead of trying an array of new products, you deserve to have something that will serve you well into the future. It's the little things that improve quality of life."And remain in the same house, eating and drinking what they provide, for the laborer deserves his wages." (Luke 10:7) God is awesome ... he can even use a water bottle to teach you stuff!I hope you like it as much as I do. :) <3

Way better than alternatives
I bought this because my Contigo bottle's straw wouldn't let me suck any water up when the lid was screwed all the way on. This bottle completely avoids that issue due to the large hole for pouring, and is very convenient at the gym where I want a mix of chugging and sipping water. When I first got it there was a pretty bad smell which impacted the taste, but after using it for a bitt the smell went away.My one complaint would be that it's big enough that it does not fit in most cup holders.
