Amazing
Is something I've always wondered if he had landed somewhere else how it would have played out. Was a bit weird to also have batman from the same place.

Good but significantly different to the comic
If you watch this film thinking you're going to see a animated version of the comic book, think again. Obviously the core concept - 'What if Superman's space ship landed in the USSR?' - is still present but most of everything else has been altered. It's a good stand-alone Elseworlds film but I thought the comic was much better and wasn't as sycophantically 'western' - the movie is very angled as "this is why capitalism is better". It doesn't really discuss the failings of capitalism and simply glosses it over as simply "We see America as the bad guy", but the screenwriters went to great pains to explain why communism seems doomed to fail.As I said, if you ignore the Red Son comic book, it's enjoyable, but beneath the surface, it's a fairly vain film that departs significantly from the source material.

The strong rule, and you are the strongest
A good Elseworld movie. A more political movie I am not sure who the good guy is or of there is a good guy or bad guy.Brought up I the brutal Stalin era. Superman is brought up as the ultimate communist. This could explain his natural empathy for the people of the country. When he sees the reality of how people are treated he takes his first friends advice.Lex Luthur is his usual sociopathic self. The other characters are not as the have been before. Superman is not the character who has turned their back on their cardinal rule not to kill.Politics, brutal action and deaths all stemming from the best of intentions. The usual DC cast are not the only cast, and a number of American presidents are in this movie. I am purponow using the word heroes as there is only one character who could possibly qualify in the movie. A good stand alone movie. There is a preview of the next Justice League Dark movie. This is DC's answer to End Game. Just darker.

Nicely done
Alternative story of the Superman legend,Pitching him into landing in Soviet Russia instead of the USA,Fantastic artwork all the way through, very stylised, and reasonably good story.Only thing I didn't like was that there was some bad language in it, only a little, but in my opinion,it did not add anything to the story or make it more adult, in fact it seemed a bit cringe and out of place.Overall great fun and worth a watch for any Superhero and comic fans.

Decent adaptation of a great story
I'm a pretty big Superman fan, and love this twisted version of events in Comic book/ graphic novel form. The animation has good visuals, and makes great work of the differences in character design overall.A streamlined adaptation of a fantastic story.
