Japanese Traditional Decorative Fashion Envelope for the Celebration "Elegance of the Flying Crane" Red

Upon first opening seems to be well made. Not sure I like the gold bird figure as much as the white one on another card, but it is lovely - could be a crane or a stork. Love the colors and patterns on the paper. I wish I could read Japanese to follow the directions on how to use it properly. English please.
