Assembling this product took a few hours, but thankfully the instructions were well organized and easy to follow. (I am a 54 years old woman in good health.) You mainly just need a phillips head screwdriver. I used a power drill with the screwdriver head which was great. There was only one part where I needed an extra set of hands. The cabinet seems to be well made. It isn't flimsy at all. The cabinet doors have magnets which is nice. It is nice having a chopping block on top. It appears to be very nice and well made also. There was a comment about the cabinet being smelly. When I opened the box, it smelled of fresh paint. The smell went away by the time I finished putting the cabinet together. I put the feet on the cabinet instead of the wheels and the feet also have levelers which was nice. We are very pleased with the purchase and would definitely purchase again. One note: There were a few slightly damaged parts that was caused from the very rough handling of the shipping company. It looked like something with a sharp corner was dropped onto the box that the cabinet was in. That caused a hole which also broke through the packaging and damaged a few parts of the cabinet. But after assembling, the "damage" isn't seen or noticed. Yay!

A little on the high side for price. But looks nice. Is sturdy. Took me about 3 hours to put together. Only one issue. The top right drawer slide hardware was pre mounted slightly off. So that drawer sticks a little. Was not happy about it. But not a deal breaker. It was packed very well.

This is a wonderfully sturdy piece of furniture. The doors have a magnetic closure which is also nice. We put our coffee cups below with additional coffee supplies and put our expresso and keurig on top. The butcher block top is also thick and really good looking. Everything went together very nicely except the top drawers are inset into the drawer hole instead of just in front of it. This has a beautiful look to it but the rails that came preinstalled at the factory did not line up correctly and the drawer top was rubbing against the opening. I had to remove a few of the rail screws inside the cabinet to correct it. The rail has an opening that has and oval slot instead of a round hole. I took out the two front screws on the rail that needed adjustment. I set the rail down a very little bit and then predrilled a small hole into the side inside the cabinet in the middle of the oval slot. (do not drill all the way through) I installed the screw into this hole which then allowed a little up and down adjustment to the position of the drawer so it would not contact the cabinet hole when closing. Once I had the right position, I added the second screw back into a new predrilled hole. Not hard but I would not have been happy with it rubbing as within only one day you could see it was rubbing the paint off. Overall this item is super nice and I highly recommend with the caveat that you may need to adjust the top drawer rails to prevent it rubbing.

Just received this kitchen island and was thrilled once I opened the box and checked everything out. All pieces were labeled and hardware was all sorted and marked. Easy to follow directions and took us closed to 2 hours to complete. Really beautiful and well made. Storage areas are ample and butcher block top is very nice! Love it and I know I will be enjoying it for a long time. I would definitely recommend this island. Looks great in my kitchen and love the shade of dark blue. Awesome!!!!!

We bought two of these. They went together easily, and it was a person who doesn't have a lot of experience putting such things together who did the work. Took about three hours for the first one, and around two for the second. They are solid and beautiful and hold exactly what we needed them to hold while extending counter space. The only problem was the smell. We had vent fans on and doors open to get the smell out. Can still smell it when the doors are open, but it is less each day. i was very pleased at how quickly they arrived, faster than I expected, and in perfect shape, no nicks or dents or problems. The color is a nice navy. We choose to not put feet on ours or rollers, but are saving them in case we change our minds later.

Disappointing. A portion of the drawer slide fell apart. Several small knicks in the paint. Worst of all was a hard to remove, poorly placed manufacturer sticker on the exterior. When we tried to remove it, it took off a layer of paint leaving an unsightly blemish. Product returned.

We contacted the manufacturer and they responded quickly. Sent us a replacement and it’s a lovely cabinet. I gave it a 3 because of the hassle. Couldn’t put this together after we opened it. Section B, the side where the drawer mechanism is located was broken. I see many others have experienced the same issue. Section T, a drawer front had a large chunk torn off. It’s MDF. The butcher block is beautiful and we love the color. This was not packaged well. The box was destroyed when we got it. I will have to contact them during business hours. I’m not sure it’s worth the nut roll to return this. It’s extremely heavy and the box can’t be reused. Very disappointed. I can’t recommend this product. I’ll update after we contact manufacturer.

Easy instructions. Love the look and quality of this product. The side storage is a little tight but I can put a shoe box storage container in it to store stuff. The only negative is the smell. It has a very strong chemical smell that is hard to get rid of. I have had it set up for 2 weeks now and still cannot use it. Hopefully with warmer weather I can open doors and windows longer to vent the smell. Overall a very nice product.

This island has a lot of storage space, very sturdy and just all round gorgeous!
