Weldflame TIG Welding Torch Cable Cover 24ft(L)-4in(W) Denim(Cowboy) with Zipper for Torch 26 and 18

Arrived in opaque plastic sack. The zipper handle is metal. The zipper teeth are plastic. Not sure how long this would last in a shop. But at home it looks like it would be durable to last several years. For the price $16 I'd say it's a pretty good deal maybe even for a shop. Mine would not zip all the way closed at the end due to a stitch blocking the zipper. I didnt want to cut the stitch and unravel the whole zipper. If the zipper starts to walk open I will tape or zip tie it. I was able to get it over the handle of my ck17

I bought the denim 3" x 25'. Overall I am pleased with this product. A few things that would be helpful to know before purchasing: The zipper does not completely open like a jacket does. One end is a permanently fixed loop so in order to get this around your torch lead you will need to either remove the DINSE connector or the torch itself. The denim is very thin, so in turn it is super light which is a bonus; Although, I'm not positive it can stand up to the task of protecting the leads for longer than six months to a year in a shop environment. I imagine a home hobbyist who takes good care of their equipment could get a few years out of it. The zipper seems a little flimsy, but this would not be zipped or unzipped very often. For me, all of those only equal up to losing a single star.

I used it not for a TIG torch, I used it to protect my plasma cutter hose. Cheap chinese plasma cutters come with a flimsy hose which in my opinion is not strong enough for the environment it gets exposed. By adding this cover I know the hose will last longer. I wish there was an option for a shorter, like 15 feet which is the length of the plasma cutter hose, but it doesn't matter, still works.

This cover is fine for light to medium use...it's built ok also...I like it because it adds very little weight to the hose, and it don't weigh the torch down and makes it easier on my wrist....it does add protection for the hose, just don't treat it like a leather cover...it would not last if you 'abuse' it... Overall, it's good for what it's made for, and it's inexpensive too.....

The material itself is not denim as one normally thinks of jeans when you see denim. It is cotton which is great to see so now I dont have to worry about it melting all over my workpieces. It was also really to put on. If it was just a little thicker I'd give it 5 stars.

Easy to install and not too loose

Brought this to protect the hose on my CK torch. The red braided hose starts looking real bad if you don't use one of these. I do wish it was about 3' longer
