I bought this infrared temperate gun as an upgrade to my previous one. I have reptiles & inverts so need to check the temps regularly. It's simple enough - just point & press & there you go. I have marked 4* instead of 5* because although it's easy to use, I did have to read through the full instruction book to work out what each thing on the screen meant! It measures humidity & ambient temperature as well as surface temperature so very handy. Great that it comes with batteries too, that makes things so much easier!

I have purchased a similar product in the past and had to return it.I’m using this as a way of checking temperatures on my heat press machines, the temperatures I use have to be constant, I also need to ensure even heat throughout the plates.This infrared thermometer is amazingly accurate. The readings given are constant which is a bonus.The instructions make use of the thermometer simple and easy and the box contains everything needed for instant use.I have tested this from -16 - +250 and there is little variation in the readings which has given me confidence in the thermometer. I will add the tests we’re completed on items that were properly gauged.Be confident in your purchase, the price also is superb.

After having being bitten by the pizza oven bug I needed an infrared thermometer to be able to make sure my stone was at the optimum temperature for cooking - 400oC.This arrived promptly and was well packaged complete with batteries. Pop them in and point and shoot - it’s as easy as that!Seems very accurate as I tested it with my calibrated oven and the temperate was within 0.1oC - very impressed! The addition of the ambient temperature and humidity indicator are useful for other uses such as troubleshooting damp in and around the house.Comfortable to hold and a nice looking black mode (as opposed to other garish yellow models)Would highly recommend. 👍🏻

We had currently b een using an older therometer in or craft business and my wife who is the one who melts the wax etc asked if we could change as this one needs to ve lifted out repeatedly o check heat. So I had a wee surf and knew we had to find one that could handle high temps and came accross this one. It is a very lightweight but well made and sturdy. After reading the manual we began to realise how easy it was to use even though it looked technical and we tested the accuracy a few times to confirm it was on the ball and it is a very accurate bit of kit. The main reason for our interest was the amazing levels of cold and heat it could measure as some stuff we create requires a high temp. Love it and what a difference it has made to our craft business.

This cheap little infrared thermometer works a treat! I'd give it 6 stars if I could because not many products come with batteries in the box these days, but this one does! So as soon as I got it, I was able to measure things immediately.Goes up to 500C so pretty useful for BBQs as well as COVID reasons. Lightweight and straightforward operation (just point and pull the trigger, and you get a temp reading on the colour display). I can recommend this product.

As everyone had to have a new hobby during the summer of 2020, my chosen pastime was Neapolitan style pizza! After spending far too much on ingredients, ovens, peels etc this was what I needed to finish my collection!So far, so good - it seems to recognise that cold things are cold, and hot things are hot (and very hot things are very hot!).It comes with batteries which is great, and it looks futuristic enough that you might be using it as a phaser in Star Trek rather than to measure temperatures!Also - when you get it for the first few days, you will just measure the temperature of everything - the novelty will not wear off!Overall a good product - I’ve not had it too long, but seems to work as it should :)

Nice infrared thermometer, with a lot of information on the display (I personally need just the temperature, but everything else is just a plus).For an accurate measure, you need to change the emissivity value (explained in the manual), otherwise the measure can fail.Checked with my printer bed, and the measure is quite aligned with the real one, so is good enough for my needs.

I use this every day to measure the temperature and humidity of my 3 snakes and scorpion enclosures. Incredibly easy to use and is much better than using an analogue thermometer and hygrometer. I can’t comment on the accuracy as I have nothing to compare it to but it seems to work great and I have never had an issue. 9/10, great value for money, wont find anything better than this for the price point at all!
