Review: My mom loves this book - I got this for my mom who is in assisted living home. I also got her the deck of cards to go with it. She is looking forward to playing again. Review: It's a book with rules. - Unfortunately...why have rules if no one is going to abide by them. Nothing wrong with the product....but apparently my family doesn't like rules.

Confusing and Waste of Money
This book was written so poorly, that I stopped after a few pages and am returning. The author has no grasp of teaching or of the English language. The final steps are written before the beginning steps. I never return books but this one is going back.

Not impressed.
Not many pages in book for price. Gives a lot of history, interesting - hard to follow and I'm an avid card player.

Not understanding it
I play canasta, and I got this book to help my cardplayer friends to learn to learn the game more quickly and easier than me teaching them. I have a hard time understanding the directions itโs as if I have been playing an entirely different game. If you buy this, I hope you can understand it better than I.

Only for players of American Canasta
this book is very basic and only contains rules for the American Version of Canasta not the standard international rules. For example, it says you may not have more than 7 cards in a canasta.

Difficult to understand
Obviously a translation and not a very good one. Makes it difficult to follow at times. No diagrammatic elements only words.
