Radar Mount Mirror Mount + Direct Wire for Valentine V1 Radar Detectors - Gen 1 and Gen 2 (3001204)

This is a good mirror mount for the V1 radar detectors. Depending on the vehicle, it can be a tight fit but once you get it adjusted it works great. I'm impressed with the quality of the wiring kit that came with it, good quality, plenty long, easy to adapt it to power both the V1 and a HomeLink rear view mirror.

It is made of high quality metal that clamps down well. It is easy to mount and adjust, and the hard wire kit is easy to install.

works good for my Valentine 1 , BUT, it would be nice that it would tighten down more so it will not move around whe. driving or taking it off or in the mount

I used this in my 2014 Chevy Silverado, and it worked great. No vibrations no issues at all. Installation was easy.

Every Wrangler owner knows their windshields have too little rake to use the suction cup Valentine 1 mounts, and the visor clip with power cord going to the cigarette lighter is tacky. Here is the solution! This is a great product. The RJ-45 connector fit snugly, and the kit came with two "quick connects" so you can easily tap into your vehicle's power supply. I don't like the idea of using an "add-a-fuse" and having a stray wire snaking out of the fuse box (compromising a good fuse box seal) so I simply tapped into my Jeep Wrangler (2013- JK body style) mirror power supply. You will see in my picture that I also have a CB mounted above the mirror, so it made for quite a center stack! I like the braided portion of the cable that leads up to the detector— adds an OEM-style finish.

Comes with everything you need for a simple and quick installation. I would recommend this mount to anyone running a radar detector. At the time photo was taken it had not been hardwired, but it will be soon and they provide every connector option you would need.

This is the best mount kit for your Valentine 1 device especially if your are looking to hardwire the unit. And for BMW owners it is awesome because we can use existing electrical wire that exist for the rain sensor, to power the unit and reduce wiring. Once installed your Valentine 1 looks neat and amazing.
