V6000 Fm Audio Transmitter

V6000 worked as expected out of the box, no tweaking required. Strong reception on 3 radios 1 floor above transmitter and in basement below. Followed basic set up instructions. Not using any aftermarket antennae. The antennae in the box worked great. I have speakers connected to my laptop but wanted to transmit to radios around the house. I used the supplied headphone jack splitter so I can transmit and still use the speakers. One negative thing I did not anticipate with this great idea - when my computer hibernates, if the V6000 is plugged into my USB, it loses power and of course stops transmitting. Once that happens, all the radios in the house tuned to the V6000 station blare static. Solution - use wall plug instead.

We used this for a church service during the virus problems. Everyone stayed in their cars. The preacher plugged a mic into the transmitter and broadcast to everyone in the parking lot. It was very, very easy to use, and worked perfectly. Everyone could wave and be together, but not "together." Perfect product for the purpose.

Super portable unit with two 3.5mm inputs. Decent range and battery life. Very versatile.

We bought the V6000 to transmit for parking lot church on 5/5/2020 from Amazon. It worked fine until 7/14/2020. It would no longer transmit. All the lights are on and everything seems to be working correctly but it will no longer transmit. We have tried new cables and troubleshooting techniques but it seems to have quit working. Emailed company and they said it fell in their 90 days warranty period and so sent another after I sent old unit back. New unit died at the end of September 2020. Emailed company and this was their reply - "Your 90 day warranty expired on 8/5/2020 The replacement unit covers the remaining part of your existing warranty. You may purchase a new transmitter unit for $49 including shipping. (This is for the transmitter unit only without any cables and accessories)". Two new units died in less than five months. It was hooked up and left alone so no negligence on our part.

You cannot use an input stereo plug that has an oversized grip because it will not fit with the power plug. But other than that this thing was perfect for our parking lost services. It complies with our local laws for transmitters and does not interfere with the local airport( 1/2 mile away). it does not have a huge range but will also be great for augmented sound for our hearing impaired members inside of the sanctuary.

Will not function at all.

The transmitter arrived quickly and in "original" packaging. I tried it to make sure it would work and on the first Sunday when I turned it on to broadcast my sermon to a parking lot full of cars it wouldn't turn on...BUMMER! I took it to a local shop and they opened the case to find that it had been wet and there was corrosion and rust in addition to a disconnected resistor. They were able to clean it out and reattach the connection and now the transmitter works perfectly. Good sound and easy to use once I had it repaired. '

I have setup 3 of these now, 1 for my Church and two for other Churches. They work wonderfully. Good reception and quality. Super fast delivery as well. Recommended.
