L'oreal Infallible Advanced Never Fail Makeup, Soft Ivory, 1-Fluid Ounce

I've been using this foundation for YEARS. I have tried a couple other brands in that time just to see my other options but I always come straight back to Loreal Infallible. It is a full coverage foundation that lasts all day, what more could a girl ask for?I'm also prone to break outs from certain products. I've had trouble with MAC foundations before causing break outs, but this foundation is great and no break outs at all.I would recommend going to a store to see the shades in person so you can get to know what shade your skin is as the pictures on amazon aren't all that true to the exact shades. I once bought a slightly different shade in error as the picture looked to be the right one. So make sure you remember the name of the shade that is right for you and try not to judge entirely on the amazon pictures!The only down side to this product I've found is that even with daily use the pump can become clogged with dried foundation at the tip. If you aren't paying attention it can cause the foundation to spurt out and fly across the room! I am constantly finding spots of it on the walls or carpet (no, I never learn my lesson to check the pump!) and it can stain fabric if you get a splodge on there, so be careful!Some reviews have mentioned a watery texture. This does happen at first. You need to give the foundation a really good shake before you first use it. After that initial shake though I've never had a watery issue before. The foundation always pumps thick and creamy. I use one pump for a fairly even and light coverage all over or two pumps for a fuller coverage. I dust a little powder over before contouring and it's always perfect all day coverage. I even use it as a base for eyeshadows as it helps it to stay in place. I have used it both on its own and with a face primer and setting spray and I honestly can't tell a difference. The foundation stays put just as well without the primer and spray as it does with.

Lets your skin breath while providing excellent coverage and a natural, dewy look. I am 60 years old and have used this product for about 10 years. Best I have ever used, and I've been using foundation since I was 15. I am frequently complimented on how clear, youthful and smooth my skin looks. (My secret--my skin is horribly blotchy with red oily nose and age spots). Stays on, even during workouts. But--you will need to use a creamy or oil-based face cleanser, like Ponds Cold Cream (also one of my favorite beauty products), to completely remove it. It does not easily come off with soap and/or water; you have to scrub. Which is great for me, because I can shower after my mid-day workout, rinse my face off and my makeup stays put! It even stays on in the pool. I also use this on and around my eyelids. It doesn't cause any eye irritation, and it doesn't collect in the creases/folds of my skin. My local store (Fred Meyer) quit carrying this (why???), so I am glad to be able to get it at Amazon. The new version that comes in the plastic squeeze bottle is not even close to the original in quality, coverage, and duration.

After trying many types of make-up, the 18 hour Infallible L'Oreal in the pump bottle is what I decided to use. I have used it for several years. It is easy to apply and it stays on all day even in the hottest weather (beach). I love it! I have had many people to approach me while out shopping and ask what type of make-up I use and wanted to know where to purchase it. It is light on my skin and I don't even realize it's on. I love it! It's such a shame that L'Oreal is discontinuing this make-up. I panicked when I heard it was being discontinued and purchased 30 bottles of it. I'm sure others who use it are disappointed that it is being discontinued, too. Why being discontinued, I do not know. Why would L'Oreal discontinue such a great product? They're replacing it with a similar product which comes in a tube (24 hour Infallible). I tried it and do not like it at all. Even though it says it's 24 hour, it rubs off. I sweat, it gets slimy and disappears off my face. Even though I bought my usual color (creamy natural) in the new product, the color is off from the new tube product. The new product in the tube does not start to compare to the make-up in the pump bottle. Again, I don't like the new tube make-up. At least the 30 18 hour L'Oreal pump bottle bottles make-up I purchased will last me for a very long time. After I use it up, I'm most likely going to another brand since I do not like L'Oréal's new product. Why does a company change a wonderful product for another product that isn't as good? Why does a company want to lose customers that have bought their products for years? Hoping you'll change your mind, L'Oreal. PLEASE DO NOT DISCONTINUE YOUR 18 HOUR INFALLIBLE PUMP BOTTLE!bought their products for years?

I've been wearing this for years and could no longer find it in Walmart or Walgreens where I would always buy it. They carry all of the Infallible in tubes but not this one in the bottle. The Advanced Never Fail has a better coverage for anyone with all blemishes, scars, dark spots or discolored skin. It is not heavy or thick but just gives a better coverage, is creamier and does not wear off during the day as quickly as others as it is not so watery. It gives a nice smooth appearance and is not greasy. When first using the bottle it has to be really shaken up and it may be a little thinner the first few times using. But after 2 or three applications the mixture will thicken slightly and be creamier. And you don't have to use a lot of it to get the coverage you need. Experiment to see how much you need to get the coverage you like without applying too much on your face.
