Nearly a 5. This is my first order of Feridies Peanuts and was a little disappointed in them when I first tasted them, but they are growing on me more each day. As others have said, they are very crunchy, much more so than Planter's. Planter's are more oily and thus seem to have a deeper peanut flavor, but they quickly leave a bad aftertaste -- I think from the oil. These Feridies nuts are drier (not as much as dry-roasted) and less oily, but there is no unpleasant aftertaste. These nuts are lightly salted which is a big plus for me because I use very little salt. I mainly use peanuts as a topping on ice cream, and these tasted wonderful with a premium vanilla ice cream and...oh yes....hot fudge!!

Good peanuts but not as advertised. They are far from "giant" size & not as crunchy as the best Virginia peanuts. Because they are smaller than "giant" & much less crisp than the finest Virginia peanuts, I would say that makes them considerably over priced. I come from Virginia & have been a Virginia peanut connoisseur for 45 years so you can trust my review. By the way, I ordered them twice, just to be certain that the 1st order was not a bad example, but the 2nd order was just the same, so I decided to write the review.

I was hoping that these would be just as good as the original Planters Cocktail Peanuts, which I really liked until Planters basically destroyed the quality of that product. I was quite disappointed. While they were good, they just didn't meet my expectations. Also, there were way too many halves instead of whole peanuts. I will not order any more.

i had no idea peanuts could taste so yummy.this aint no regular peanut, this is like a peanut on steroids. the crunch, size, and butteryness is the reason why these have a premium >> planters price

We received the 3-pack order today. With anticipation I opened the first can to find a disappointing batch of stale peanuts. I figure there is no return so I will crush these up and use them for something else later. I will update the review after we open the second can.

Most Excellent Peanuts. We've tried all ( and I mean ALL) of the alleged gourmet Virginia peanuts. These are roasted to perfection, every nut, every can, every time. These are pleasantly salted, not too heavily and not too lightly. If you are looking for the Gold Standard in Virginia peanuts.......look no further.

Great peanuts! Large, fresh and just the right amount of salt. I have purchased these multiple times and have been very pleased. Just ordered some more for the holidays for my husband. He loves them!!!

These are what people who love peanuts expect when ordering Virginia peanuts. Large and crackling crisp. Once you've tried them the supermarket variety will no longer appeal.
