XLUX Soil Moisture Meter is such a needed item in your plant cart! I had such a hard time figuring out weather to water or not but now it's so much easier with this Meter! It tells you weather they are dry, moist or wet and it's works so good! I'm so glad I invested in this Meter and I highly recommend trying @XLUX Soil Moisture Meter! If you are having trouble knowing when to water or not to water this will be your saving grace! I love mine!

The long probe water/moisture meter has truly saved the lives of my plants! Needs an app to fully understand it otherwise very easy to read

Purchased to monitor watering of a new tree ($$$).Did not want under water, or over water and waste resources.Device is simple to use and appears to be accurate based on my use over the past several weeks.

I purchased this because I suck at keeping my plants alive 😂😂 I tend to over water, so I got this to help me make sure I don't. It's a great purchase, definitely works. Very accurate. The best thing is it doesn't need batteries. It also comes with a guide that shows how much water or moisture curtain plants should have, which helps me alot. Great for farming, gardens, indoor and outdoor plants, Definitely recommend

Absolutly love this! I can read the display without having to drag out my readers. Simple yet effective. Wish I would have gotten it much sooner.

(revised review 050725) There is a possibility I broke or did not use the meter correctly. Learning to grow orchids, I pushed the meter against resistance of bark in the orchid pots. From the seller's help I now know to try the meter on ordinary garden soil.Based on my original review the seller was very responsive, provided a replacement product and a helpful message about proper use. I have confirmed the replacement is functional by trying it in the flower beds. I am also able to tell it has trouble in orchid potting mix which is very chunky, loose and airy. I figured out to use a kabob skewer as a probe to create a path into the orchid pot for the meter. I see a slight positive reading. I am confident the product is not the problem in my case.(original post) Product made two readings then nothing. It doesn't read at all. I am going to order another only because it is given a good review on Bob Villa's website.
