Tired of walking out in the dark, cold and nasty weather to lock your chickens up at night and then back out early in the morning to unlock them?? You need this!!! It has worked perfect since the second we installed it. We thought the door might be a little flimsy and that an aggressive animal might be able to claw his way through it but it has worked great!! The sensor on the door does exactly what it should do, just like your garage door. A chicken walks through while the door is in motion the door stops. I wish I would have made this investment 20 years ago. It would have saved us from losing many animals to critters and many cold nights walking to the pen in the dark.

Somewhat difficult to install. Easy to program. If power goes out, current time is lost but open/close times are still saved (I have solar power and battery backup to ensure timer remains powered). Motor failed in door closed position. Will need to remove a section of wall panel to access and replace (if I can get new linear actuator and motor).

After finally installing the product despite the poorly written instructions, the actuator did not work. The only troubleshooting advice from the instructions was to press the "test" button, that did not work either. There was no contact information for technical support in the materials provided. I contacted Amazon for support, and while they tried their best to help and even tried to contact the manufacturer directly, they were unable to assist me and recommended I contact the manufacturer directly. I called the number provided, after waiting on hold for 3 minutes I was routed to a voice-mail box that was full and not accepting new messages. There was no other contact information on the manufacturer's website. I ended up returning the product to Amazon.

We purchased this automatic coop door early in the year, 2020. It was pretty easy to install and setup.After several months with ZERO issues it stopped working and would not move at all or make any noise like it was trying. The support folks sent me a new circuit board to try and that did not fix the issue. They then said it would take a few weeks to get another motor/rod assembly in due to the demand. I mentioned it would be freezing here soon and "Dolly" said she would see what she could do. A week later I received the part and it worked!Now, after thinking about it I believe the chickens bumped a small block of wood into the path of the door as it closed and just blocked it a tiny bit at the bottom., over a bit of time I think this caused the motor/gear/rod to fail. Soooo, keep that in mind when you install the unit, make sure the door way stays clear with a bit of room at the bottom.We love this product and the support was great. I rarely do reviews but this one deserved it.

The door doesn’t operate properly when the temperature drops below about 35 degrees and there’s no manual way of opening or closing it so it is not a good thing for the winter months! I thought the use of the battery would help, but even then it was not enough to make the door operate.. I wound up having to use a piece of wood to block the door and fashion it to be able to be used as the door through the colder temps when the regular door would not operate.The battery only lasts for about 4-5 days so if it’s not a good time for the solar panel to work, you need to be sure to check your battery!Otherwise the remote system is as it should be and it does work well for the setup and the sensor is a good thing and does work well!

Excellent product. Easy to install and operate. I am getting ready to run it completely off solar power. It did kill one of my chickens, because they were sleeping in the doorway below the level of the sensor. Make sure that you lower the sensor or raise the floor of the doorway as high as possible so that your chickens can't get lower than the sensor. Aside from sensor height issues, I would recommend the product to anyone that didn't want to have to wake up early to let you chickens out. Best value for the price, and as good as the more expensive models. The last thing I might change is the door is split in the middle for no plausible reason besides saving on shipping. I would make it one piece, but I will probably replace it with a single piece of steel. ~NJ

Chicken doors works great! The controller kept losing time if power went off, so it was not dependable. but I easily set it up on a 12v battery with maintainer to solve that issue. The entry sensor was useless/false trips, so it had to be removed. But good overall

I tried to build my own chicken door opener using a radio car antenna, finally gave up and ordered the "LOVSHARE Automatic Chicken Coop Door Opener" and wish I had saved myself the frustration with the radio antenna and just bought this one earlier.Ordered September 28th, Delivered October 1st. Can't beat 3 day delivery.I love the actuator on this door, it operates smooth and is slow enough that I can't imagine a chicken getting stuck or crushed in it should the Infrared Sensor ever fail.Date/Time and Open/Close times are easy to set.My only complaint is that there is no backup battery to maintain settings when the power fails. I am looking to find an adapter to make this hook up to a solar maintained battery.Remember to order your Duracell MN27BPK Keyless Entry Battery, for the remote.I don't think you will find a better one for the price.

Product came easy to install. But the 12v actuator was seized. The part that runs up and down the treaded rod was was cross threaded. Vender was very helpful with the replacement of the 12v actuator. Order the part off Amazon from third party one day delivery and vendor covered the full cost.

Un solo problema che però lo rende inutilizzabile. Il pistone fa molta fatica ad aprire e chiudere la porta e quindi spesso si blocca.

The moment I got this product, the power supply was not working the timer would turn off every 10 seconds, they did send me another one that was working but then another problem started happening... the door opens and closes but stops whenever it wants. Been dealing with this door for weeks and I grew some gray hairs, I do not recommend this, save your money buy something better or nothing at all your chickens will thank you.

Nach ca 1 Jahr ist die Tür defekt... der Motor fährt nicht mehr... für den Preis und unter der Betonung Langlebigkeit hätte ich mehr erwartet
