Great Buy For The Money
Came as advertised. Looked exactly as pictured in the ad. I mounted it on one of the posts on my patio using a wood screw under my deck where my little squirrel friends always come for food. I put a little plastic end table that I used to put nuts on for my little friends under the feeder so they would get used to the feeder. The feeder is strong enough to sit by itself but having the table there helps the squirrels to get to the feeder easier. They love it and come almost everyday for their treats. I put some nuts on the inside of the little house and some on the outside on the little porch and my little guys always eat all of it up. I am very happy with this purchase.

Handy shelter for flying squirrels
For several years I fed a nest of flying squirrels that lived in an old sugar maple tree at the house I rented. I put the food in one of those porch-swing style feeders that I hung below a branch, and the squirrels would glide down, grab a nut, then scamper up against the branch for shelter if they thought a predator might be nearby. Well, last year I finally managed to buy a house right on the same street, and over the course of a few months, I also managed to coax my tiny flying squirrels to follow me. Trouble was, none of the big trees in the new yard had any low branches, so the feeder was way too exposed. Since flying squirrels are very vigilant of possible owl attacks, I needed to find them some kind of cover. This feeder works perfectly for that purpose. The squirrels scamper down to grab food off the easy to clean ledge, and if they get nervous about something flying overhead, they dart into the little shelter to eat it. The openings are plenty big enough for a flying squirrel, but the structure is still a fairly secure anti-owl-craft shelter.I don’t think this feeder is going to last terribly long since the gray squirrels do chew on it a lot in the mornings while trying to find any forgotten crumbs, but it doesn’t cost much, and replacing it after a year or so isn’t really a problem.

Squirrels Love It
My squirrels love there tree box. I would definitely buy this again and again. But be prepared to tweak it before you hang it outside if you want it to last. The nails are not sturdy enough to keep it together long term. I replaced several nails that had already worked there way out in shipping with better nails. Also weather proofed it then let it set a few days to ensure safe for the critters. After more than a year of daily Squirrel & Bird use it is still staying together, although the Squirrels have chewed the holes to there satisfactory size as you can see the beginnings of in the picture.

Not enough room for food and hard to put food into it
Really should give this 2.5 stars but can’t. The area holding the food is not big enough. Ok for 2-3 squirrels maybe. Very difficult to get food into the holding area as the top does not open. Have to put food in thru side hole and then watch some of it fall out the other side. Nice and sturdy design but needs to be bigger and have easy access to put in food.

Cute - - sturdy Squirrel feeder.
This feeder was super easy to hang up and for nicely on my fence. My squirrels were able to find it easy after our their trees were removed. It's very cute and you could paint it or stain if you want. It's also sturdy for them to stand on.

Squirrel Fun for Everyone
We painted ours and strapped it to the railing on our porch. It is magical watching all the neighborhood squirrels flock to our porch all day. I feel like Snow White drinking my morning coffee with them. Hours of quarantine entertainment the whole family can enjoy. If you're scrolling through things on Amazon after a glass (or two) of wine, go ahead an click "add to cart" you won't regret it. Well unless you really like having a clean porch. They are very enthusiastic eaters. Quite messy. But honestly, worth pulling out the broom. I'd buy it again. I'd even buy one for my friends and secretly install it so they wonder why there are so many squirrels coming to their house. Better yet, a neighbor so I can watch the fun unfold.

Fat Squirrels, Happy Squirrels
This product is exactly what it suggests it is. I tend to think that says it all. However, in case there are differing expectations on what a squirrel house/feeder should be, here is a bit more: It is made well, sturdy and looks exactly as it does in the pictures. I see some people are building squirrel picnic tables and this would fit in the small squirrel patio just outside the house. It is easy to decorate and also put in comfortable cloth so that the squirrel's will get the comfort they deserve. Especially when they get chubby, which is likely to happen if they are feasting on tasty treats in the patio (or at the picnic table!) Makes me a bit jellie.

It should be a chipmunk feeder.
It is cute. It is small!!! The squirrels are too big to go inside. After having it up for about 3 hours, I noticed that the squirrels were chewing on the opening to access the seed. It was not what I need. I have a squirrel feeder that is about 2x the size of this that needs replaced so my search continues.

It looks nice
The lid to the feeder doesn't lift up so the food isn't so easy to fill without getting it everywhere... Other than that it's quite nice
