Large Hourglass Timer 60 Minute, Decorative Black Frame Sandglass with White Sand

Love this hourglass. I haven’t used for actual timing to know if it is accurate. I put our sand from our wedding day in there so more of a decor thing. It looks great and served the purpose I wanted it for.

What a great way to showcase your vacation memories. Bought for my son for Arizona sand from a trip when he was a kid saved in a water bottle for two decades and now I’m getting one for me. Beautifully crafted. Easy to fill. It’s hardly an hour glass runs for about 5 minutes but a beautiful piece.

I decided it was time for my 3 kids to have some of their dad's ashes. I had thought of the hourglass idea years ago and finally was ready to execute. After reading some of the reviews I went with this one since others had used it for the same purpose. Pointers if you're wanting to use this for the same purpose - it helps to have 2 people. And after the first try (using a tiny funnel) wasn't going so well I used a sifter to separate the finer ashes. This helps tremendously. You will still need a toothpick to help push the ashes through the funnel but the sifter was a game changer. Doing all 3 hourglasses took around an hour. All worth it. I know this gift will mean the world to the kids.

I didnt time it to the minute but it is generally on target to 60 minutes. I keep being distracted and don't see it finish, but this is a great timer, decor piece, and conversation item. The sand is quiet and i see little evidence of it 'sticking'. I bought 3 hourglasses and this is the one I kept because of its functionality and look.

Received item with a smudge on the glass that we couldn't get off. Put in a request for a replacement, but it got lost - not the vendor's fault. I ended up keeping the original order as it was a very specific gift item, and we just turned the smudge to the back. Overall, it's a decent quality - sans the smudge.

Bought this so my dad could engage in family game nights… but he’s too dusty to keep track of time… As an urn it serves its purpose. Now he’s a conversation starter… is it diabolical? Yes. But so is abandoning his own biological children to raise other people’s kids.

Very nice hour glass. The only thing I would change is that the hole in the top is very small

It was fine for price point but was very low quality, so wiggly and I feared it breaking.
