[update] After using it for awhile I've found a way to get it to stay up pretty easily most of the time, but it's still less than convenient for a large windshield.I drive a 2008 outback and this shade is way too small for it. It's a serious pain in the ass to try to get this to cover the windshield and the dash, and get it to stay up properly. If you drive a smaller car, maybe a Civic or coupe, this might work well - but for any size of SUV you're out of luck - don't waste your money. I'm going to gift this to a friend with a tiny car and hope he can get good use of it. I purchased 2 shades, one for my new vehicle and one for my son. I've used this type of shade for many years, but was unable to find the right one when I needed it. A quick search on amazon revealed what i needed in a matter of seconds and delivered to me within two days. We use these everyday, in over 100 degree weather and they make all the difference in the world!Just to note... my genius son found another use for this product. We got stuck in a flooding thunderstorm on our way in to a Costco, without an umbrella, since old stuff has not been moved in to the new car. He suggested using the shade as a shield from the rain and wind. We each held one of the circles and were able to fend off the weather attack! It was interesting to hear all the comments as people watched us. Shook off the water, folded it up, and went about our shopping. Thunderstorm passed by the time we exited, but glad we had it with us in case we needed it for our return.

This is a well-made product. I bought the medium size based on the size given and after measuring my windshield. It was a bit too big, I needed the small one. I have a BMW 530. With a bit of pushing it fitted OK. The biggest problem I had was trying to fold it up! It seemed that it needed to be held in just the right position, otherwise it was not going to cooperate! It usually took me at least 10 tries. Eventually my daughter and I switched shades, as hers was a bit too small for her car. That one I can fold up first try every time.

Edit: Company acknowledged the size mistake and corrected it.According to the description: "Flexible design allows it to fit large, medium and small cars 58 inches x 32 inches (148 cm x 80cm)." It is only 27" tall so I could not even hold it on with my cars visors. The frame that holds the fabric firm is less than 26". The length is correct at 58". I thought maybe I was sent the wrong on but the sticker on the package matches and the instruction sheet that came with it also gives the same incorrect size. It seems like it would be a good sunshade but they need to correct the product description.

This is the third sunshade product I've bought within the last 2 months.The other two I bought from auto parts stores, and they stated that theyfit my car, but they didn't. The first two were the folding rectangulartype, but they were too large. This one fits my 2013 Mustang GT perfectly,just as was stated in the product description. It also appears to be madeof sturdier material. I like the fact that it folds into a circle, it'sfar easier to store than the rectangular ones. So far I'm very happy withthis sunshade, it covers the entire area of my windshield, and here in theTexas heat that means a lot to me. I was also contacted by the maker ofthis sunshade, asking me if I was happy with this product. I am, andthanks for asking. That is how you keep customers..create a top-notchproduct and provide great customer service.

We bought a small and a medium for an 2012 Elantra and a 95 Maxima. The medium fits okay in the Maxima, but both the medium and small are too small for the Elantra. The shade fits the Elantra's windshield from side to side (left to right), but is too short from bottom to top. The visors on the Elantra are mounted so that they can't touch the windshield and there's a 2 inch gap between the windshield and the visor when the visor is all the way down. This gap prevents the shade from being held in place, so it is always sliding down and at some point falls out and ends up laying on the dash, which then pretty much lets full sun into the car. It seems a lot of the newer cars have the same issue with the visors, so will likely have a similar problem to what we have experienced.The shade seems to be well-made and seems to be using good materials, but it's just not tall enough to be easy to use and functional.If they could make the visor's metal circle's be about 5" larger in diameter, they could eliminate this problem completely and have a really functional product.

The customer service was excellent, the company that makes this shade emailed me to make sure I liked my purchase. This shade does the job, but it's a little thin and on really hot days it does not keep the heat out as much as I'd like. Protects interior and dashboard from sun and does provide some relief, was just hoping for more. I guess the pro is that it doesn't take up much space, as opposed to one of those cardboard shields.Easy to fold and unfold in a circular shape. Storage does not take much room at all. Not a bad purchase for the price though! And I appreciate the company being so courteous and proactive!

So, this is on a BMW SAV. It is not thick and it does not cover the windshield perfectly, but it does the job. Not sure how many years this will last, but for the price you cannot complain if you only get a year or 2. Folding it up does take practice. The seller gives a nice detailed note on how to do it. I still get confused at times, LOL, but then you get used to it again. Thanks SKORCH. Would buy again.
