Comfort Cool Thumb CMC Restriction Splint, Right Small Plus 6-1/2" to 7-1/4"

So, on the recommendation of my dear friend who also has CT, I bought these - one for each hand, since I (unfortunately) have it in both.Allow me to preface this by first stating that my left hand is smaller than my right. That being said, I was so excited to receive these - very promptly, I must add (thank you) and when I put them on, the right one fits perfectly, per the buying instructions listed, with going a size smaller if measurements are on the end of the fit. Then I put on the left one - it is literally cutting off the circulation in my thumb, and I haven’t even added the extra strap yet. The other piece is so small that I had to ask my husband to fasten it for me, so you can imagine how it is pinching my palm, as well as restricting the circulation. I am going to return, asap, and hopefully the next one will be correct, because, as I said, the right is a perfect fit and is already helping.That is my reason for not giving 5’s across SS the board

The brace works exactly like the one my husband had custom made at the ortho lab so I'm very happy with the product. Using instructions for measurement, it fit perfectly. Only reason for not giving it a 5 is it's a bit difficult to hold thumb side of brace at wrist while wrapping velcro side around hand and then getting them together with enough tension to make it as tight as I would like it to fit. Once you get a system that's not a deal breaker

I do like it for my arthritis in thumb and wrist. It is not bulky. I use it about 75 percent of the time, I got one from my doctor in august . I decided to get another for my left hand. It was 15$ cheaper on line and not my insurance. My doctor told me to check for same exact wrap different price. The problem is , being neoprene maybe it can’t have some sort of stretch stitch to stop fraying. I have to trim off pulled pieces .price ispricy

My 3rd-these work perfect for any tired painful thumb etc. They only last a few months if you wear everyday & 4 me I drove for work too. Best I've ever used. My 1st came from my orthopedic doc they use- putting it on me

I had a thumb splint but the plastic part which surrounded the base of my caused more pain when it rubbed. The soft splint feels much better.

Already had right hand splint. This purchase was for left hand. Great product, great value.

This split works well enough, but the strap that wraps around the thumb and then fastens with Velcro needs improvement. In my case the strap is too long and sort of flops around. On the last one I bought, I cut the strap to shorten it, and that ruined the whole thing (and led me to buy another one without trying other products). Beyond the length of the strap, I've found (this is my third one) that there should be a better (larger) Velcro fastener for the strap.

had to reorder to larger size, easy return and quick arrival of new one. I have only been using it for a few days and helps already with relief of arthritis. also does not stop me from using hand.

Was pleased with the fit and support. Material frayed around the thumb in a matter of weeks. I have trimmed it numerous times with the same result. Brace does the job but is not very nice looking now.

My sister had bought these from the hospital as that is what they recommended and so glad I found them on amazon. I'm glad I could try hers on first so I knew correct size as they are really work!!!

This was exactly the thumb brace I was looking for..holds the thumb in place but I am able to use my wrist with no restriction
