Burmax Minimalist Cosmetics & Hair Care Brush Organizer, One Size, Multi-Color

I didn't really know what to expect when I bought this. It seems the bristles on similar brushes can sometimes be too long or too short or too stiff or too soft. This bad boy is right on the money. I nanny full time and don't have the time or energy to go to a salon, so I do my hair at home. Before buying this dye brush I had limited and spotty results.My hair is very very very thick and I always seem to run out of dye when I just used my hands, sometimes I would even go through two packages of dye! When using this brush the dye was distributed evenly and I had the perfect amount from one package. The pin tail also made it simple to section my hair so it didn't turn out blotchy as it had before. The pin tail also comes with a little cap on it that prevented it from tearing through the packaging it arrived in. I suppose it's there for when the brush is not in use, maybe so it won't poke someones eye out? Not really sure. Anyway, I am very pleased with this as it helps me get salon results in my bathroom.

Everyone who colors their hair at home needs this brush! I've been dyeing my own hair for ten years, and do highlights with foils myself too, and this brush is just fantastic. It makes the process both easier and much faster. It's wide, and you can hold the handle close to the brush itself, giving you a lot of control. I have long hair. I can use this brush from the roots to the end. Roots are done soooo fast. The fact that the brush has a built-in rat's tail handle is awesome, so you can section and part your hair with the same tool you use to color. It's a fabulous all in one product. Love it. Buy it. You won't regret it if you color your hair!

The brush end is nice, very firm bristles and makes it's easy to move the dye through your roots. My only complaint is the metal pin end. It is very sharp, scraping my scalp and I am afraid I am going to poke my eye out with it! It needs some sort of plastic cap on the end or at least a metal knob of some sort. For this reason, only two stars--I am kind of afraid to use it--going back to my regular comb!
