Curly Toes? Really???
I've had these for about 3 weeks. I mostly wear at night out on my deck and it kept feeling like they were shrinking and cramping my toes. After 4 days away from home, I came back and took a look and the toe area of the sandals had completely curled up and in! Can't wear them at all. Not sure why they would do this - it's been warm outside (mid-80s) and they may have set in the sun a bit, but my other sandals never did this in the same conditions. I guess the base just isn't thick enough? Not sure if it's just my pair or if they're all like this...but I can't recommend these at all...

Overpriced... Not again.
All other things being equal between this and another Columbia sandal at one half the price, this one has better arch support and does not hurt the top of my foot(arch) when wearing it long term.., Would I pay $50 next time!?!! No I would not... This is an overpriced sandal without a doubt... Since it would be such a fight to return it I am forced to keep it... I do like Columbia's value for the price generally, but this time I feel they have gotten too greedy and I won't be looking on the brand as favorably as I would have otherwise based on the pricing experience.

They go good with summer!
A trendy sandal that feels great on the feet and looks sharp to boot! I wore these just about all summer, from California and back home to New Mexico and they did me good. The support for the sole and arch is surprisingly decent for a summer sandal. The straps hold well they're perfect for wearing during the warmer months. My only complaint would be the noise they can make sometimes if your feet get too moist while wearing them for a long period, but apart from that, I really dig these sandals!

Columbia's Mens Techsun Vent Sandals
My Companion has needed Summer Sandals for the past 2 yrs & *He does not like "Shopping (I guess like most men?!) So after seeing him in a pair of Rubber Beach Shoes with bottoms decided to get him a Good, Supportive & most of all *Comfortable Sandals! I saw the Columbia Techsun pair, with the Velcro adjustable tab across the top & they were rated quite good; So I ordered them. They arrived very quickly & as soon as could open the box I told him to try them & walk around for awhile- long story-Short: "He Loves Them! No Breaking in needed,No Rubbing or sore spots. They & We. Are All *winners!! Definitely Recommend them for any Man with "Military Foot issues or jist like Comfort!"

Supposedly all terrain... couldn't survive my urban weekend backyard
I really had high hopes for this Sandal. I can tell you this, it failed. I ordered it in Feb they completely lost cohesion in the straps by June as almost all of them pulled out of the sole over time. I wore them 2 out of 7 days predominately outside. They advertise them as all weather, all terrain...but they didn't survive my backyard. I'm not sure if it was just a bad batch but regardless when you spend $25+ on a pair of sandals....you expect more than a few months of use

Been using it for about a month now and so far it is good. Looks like the sole is one piece and I like the little water drain / vent holes. I have no problems getting them wet or briefly stepping into the pool and submerging them. This one replaces a previous sandal (from different company) sole that fell apart less than a year. Wish the heel strap was adjustable because it feels a bit roomy in the back. Overall, it's okay.

Received a defective pair
Received a defective set. One of the sandals came with one of the pieces unattached.Typically, you would be able to loop the strap through a plastic or metal piece that would be attached to the sandal. The pieces were all there, but the part of the material that would hold the plastic/metal piece in place in order to where the sandal was unattached. There were thread lines showing that the attempt had been there to attaché the material, however, the material was never sewn on to attach it.Thankfully, I was able to sew it on myself, so I hope it holds up, as I did not want to go through the hassle of returning it and waiting for a new pair.My husband likes them, though.

Good for the purpose
I wanted sandals that were usable in the water, but with at least a little arch support, and with non-marking soles. These seem to fit the bill. "Non-marking" is molded right into the soles, though I haven't yet worn them on my sister's boat to see how true that is.I don't give them a 5 because the footbeds curve up at the edges in a way that irritates my feet, makes them sort of numb at the edges. This was also true of a similar pair without the non-marking sole feature, which they are replacing. So, good for general use around water, but not for longer walks.

Great sandals.
I have had a pair of these sandals twice before and have always been very happy with them. Strong, well made and fit snugly on your feet. Great for walking on the beach but also ideal for walking in the country and over rough terrains. Love them!
