DEFECTIVE ON RECEIPT
This switch is either defective or the pole switching unlike any DPDT switch I've seen in many years working with electronics. One pole works correctly: ON-OFF-ON. In both ON positions the second half of the switch shorts pin 1 and 3 together with no continuity to the center pole (2) from either. As this is the fourth Ancor Marine switch I've ordered in the past year and the others all worked as switches are supposed to so I'm giving it 3 stars. So, before you starting taking stuff apart make sure of the pole switching with a continuity tester.
