ACCEL 4040 Spark Plug Wire Set - 8mm - Yellow with Orange Straight Boots

I used this on the 392 in my Scout with the Holley distributor. It comes with cable ends for either the Holley distributor or the Prestolite. The wires were all long enough to cut to length and route the proper way.

These Accel wires are the greatest spark plug wires I have ever owned. They look and perform perfectly.

Nice price for quality wires,like having the two options the 2 different boots/caps,and 2 different plug/coil end terminals,each spark plug wire Was atleast 32"inches,plus ignition Wire roughly 16"inches.

I bought these because the silicone boots fully cover the spark plug insulators. Great for air cooled engines where dust and grime can create leakage paths across the insulators. I installed them on an air-cooled VW and, to my great surprise, the engine seems to have more torque. The engine has a top-of-the-line Bosch coil and electronic points so perhaps the regular cables couldn't handle the increased voltage? Whatever the cause, these worked really well.

I agree with other review. Perfect for DIY. Was a great way to build an inexpensive decent set of wires for my old Porsche 911. Will be getting another set for my boat.

They’ll get the job done, nice high quality wires but they’re a bit short for certain engines. I have a Cadillac 472 in my Fleetwood, the wires were almost too short to fit in the way I wanted, but I was able to make them work, probably would work better for a small block. Also they tend to slide off the spark plugs, so I have to push them back to reseat them every so often, but that might just be because the wires a little short.

Used these in my Harley after moving the coil location. The boots fit extremely tight, used wd40 to help slip them over the wire. Comes with two different style ends for the coil.

Buen material pero insuficiente, los cables se supone son para ajustar el tamaño y son muy cortos en lugar de llegar 8 llegaron 6 lo mismo con los capuchones llegaron menos de los necesarios, todo mal con el producto, lo devolví y estoy en espera del reembolso
