Octopus Glue® 2mm x 50m Double Sided Adhesive Tape (Made by 3M) with ESD Anti-Static Tweezer and Microfiber Cleaning Cloth for Phone LCD, Digitizer Repair

Mistakingly bought the black tape instead of clear, but it still worked great. I used it for gluing down replacement batteries in some of my phones and also the backs of the phone. The tape is pretty sticky and it held down the backs of the phones great. It's been over a month now and they are still stuck on. One back was glass and the other plastic and they're both secure. 50 meters is a lot of tape. It would be nice if there was a smaller roll.

Seems to not completely hold as the screen it was used on sometimes comes off. Still a great value for what you are getting, its a pretty long roll of tape.

Very good 3M tape, worked well for iPad mini repair. Could fix 20 iPads for the amount you get.

I'm not sure if Octopus is NOT THAT GOOD of a double sided adhesive tape..or I simply got the wrong size.Anyway, this 2mm roll that I go is too narrow (once again, probably my fault)..but despite it's size..it's really not THAT sticky.I'm not happy about the purchase but I'm also not unhappy about it either.

This stuff is awesome, extremely thin and very thin cut double sided tape. Let me stress this YOU GET A TON OF IT! I swear I could wrap this around my house if I wanted to (maybe not, but its a lot of tape). Great value, and the tweezers are almost needed sometimes to get the protective paper off of the adhesive. Didn’t not stick

I used this tape to repair a tablet screen (acer Iconia) and it worked very well. The tool is also very useful for removing the cover off the adhesive.

Do NOT buy this if you need a tape that actually holds a screen in a phone. The adhesive is extremely weak with this particular tape. I literally was able to pull the screen loose on my LG V20 with my fingernail, even after setting it with weight on it overnight. It simply isn't very strong at all. Luckily I had some 3M 444 VHB tape for sunglass icons, and it held like concrete! Just sucked I had to trim it down myself to make it work, but it did. The tweezers are nice, but the tape is useless for the V20. Not sure if it would work better on a perfectly clear and slick glass panel, but this one has a narrow black border coated from the back of the glass and it's not slick smooth, but isn't textured either...Just more of a satin look to whatever coating is painted. The 444 tape had no issues at all with it however. Wouldn't recommend this for replacing a screen. What's really baffling is why the reviews showing under this particular tape (2mm x 50m Double Sided Black) show the LOCA Glue, UV Flashlight, tool kits and so on. Very misleading to say the least.
