Works great for a retail location that lost analog phone ability, set the base in an attic space and the two remote handsets do the rest. An actual better solution, easy to setup and VTECH has a great reputation of just working.

I've been using these V-Tech phones for a long time. Love them! The only thing I don't like about them is that they don't have blocker on them and the batteries don't hold for long if you leave them off the charger throughout the day! I can talk on the phone for an hour or two and then I notice the charge starts to go down on the phone about halfway never mind it's been sitting on the charger for two days straight. Other than these two matters, the phones are great and do last for at least 5-8 years if not longer. I highly recommend these phones to all because they're so good! The volume is great, and functionality of use is with ease! You can't beat the price for as many phones that's in the set! The color is really nice too because it will blend in with most colors/decor in homes! I've never had any problems since owning this set of phones other than one of the phones keys would get stuck after long use. Besides that, it's a wonderful everyday exceptional phone set!! I just hope V-Tech doesn't stop making this particular model/set! 10 Stars and more!!

Have not had most issues that others are complaining about. Phone works and was simple to set up. Not hard at all to add contacts or set up speed dials. The only thing I noticed is that it can be hard to hear someone your talking to even when the volume is turned all the way up when you have a lot of background noise such as a tv or a wife blaring music on her phone. Went outside talking on the phone and was talking fine at only about 50ft or so. Takes a long time to initially charge the batteries but that is to be expected like everything else that has to be charged for the first time. For the price, the phone is well worth every penny. The screen is not hard to read and the back light is fine for it's purpose, defiantly won't light up a room though. If someone has trouble reading the screen then they need to put their glasses back on or invest in some reading glasses. Wall mount is a little ugly. Is should be redesigned and cut of the excess below a half inch under the base.

I have ordered these types of phones, in the past, so knew they were great, but I needed a replacement set, so was so happy to find them here. I first discovered these, when I moved into a house where the phone jacks were not working and I needed a fast solution, and that's when I found these. I was able to plug these into an outlet, without the use of a phone jack, and I've been using this style of phones, every since. I was happy to find a new set that has four phones, instead of the three that I used to have, because that gave me more phones to use in more rooms. Three of the phones feed off of the main phone with the bigger base, because they are satellite phones. The cool thing about the main phone is that it has an answering machine feature, like the old school answering machines, so I can actually screen my calls, by listening , when the phone rings, and deciding if I want it to pick up, or let it go to voicemail. They have a volume feature, mute, redial and speaker phone feature, on each handset, and the smaller ones, just plug into an electrical outlet, and take up very little space.They also store several numbers, from incoming calls, on the screen, of the phones, and you can scroll through to reference or redial these numbers.The main phone has the answering machine feature, where you can play your messages, erase, etc. I have my main phone plugged into the modem of the computer, which is required, since it is a satellite phone, which means, if the computer goes down, so does the phone, but that does not come into play very often. I am so happy with these phones, and cannot say enough good things about them, I would highly recommend these.

I purchased this product when my old system failed, and have been using it for a few months with absolutely no problems. One thing I must say is to READ the complete instruction sheet (which is NOT enclosed with the phone ) which can be downloaded for free on line. The website is enclosed in the box with the basic instruction set up sheet. I believe you will become very aggravated if you try to set up the phone with the enclosed "quick" guide instruction sheet. This system gives you plenty of features for the selling price. There are a few drawbacks which are really minor to me. The letters and numbers on the screen are pretty small and the caller ID does NOT make an announcement. It just shows up on the phone screen and your smart tv screen if you own one. The other features allow you to set up how many rings before the answering machine picks up, easily change the volume on the hand piece(s), allow you to choose either the preinstalled voice mail announcement, OR lets you change the announcement to you own voice and your own personal message. You also have the ability to change the installed ring tone to one of six other ring tones that are factory installed. You do NOT have to sync multiple hand pieces when the system is purchased as a compete factory package. My opinion is that you get a lot of bang for the buck if you purchase this system. Again, the main point is to go on line and download the COMPLETE instructions which breaks down step by step with clear drawings how to use and change ALL the features in this phone. system. I highly recommend this system.

Just received and installed my new VTech CS6529-2 phone system. So far it seems to be working fine, I'm hopeful that it will continue working for a long time. I need to add one discouraging comment - the wall mount is really, really ugly! My previous VTech phone had a great wall mount. It fit snug against the wall and looked like it had been designed with wall mounting in mind. Unfortunately, the new wall mount looks like someone on the development team said, "I just learned we need a wall mount option. Everything else is all designed, we'll just need to slap something together." After I bought the phone, I found this review at the Amazon web page for this product: " The phone itself is pretty good. Problem is when you go to mount it on the wall. It can't get any uglier. It looks like a blind man designed the wall mount bracket. It sits way up high on the wall plug and you can see 3 or 4 inches of the bracket underneath. Extremely ugly." There's a picture with the review - I attached that photo to this review.

Have used this phone for several years and I am very happy with the sound quality, battery life, and basic features. I recently bought a set for my mom because I got tired of her AT&T phones dropping my call or dying suddenly.

It’s rare that I feel compelled to write a review, but my experience with the VTech CS6529-2 DECT 6.0 Phone Answering System warrants commentary. Unfortunately, this product failed on nearly every level—from initial presentation to functionality. First, the packaging was a clear indication of what was to come. The unit appeared to have been used and carelessly thrown into a box, as if an afterthought. Upon unboxing, I discovered the handsets were filthy, with visible grime that suggested no attempt had been made to clean or inspect the product before shipping. The lack of basic quality control here is both baffling and unacceptable, especially for an item advertised as new. Second, the product itself was completely nonfunctional. The listing claimed the battery would fully charge in 30 minutes. After hours of charging, the handset remained inert. This was not just an inconvenience but a glaring failure of the device to meet even the most basic expectations. A cordless phone system that doesn’t charge is, by definition, useless. Lastly, the entire experience was emblematic of negligence. The product not only arrived in a deplorable state but also proved incapable of performing its primary function. This is not merely an issue of receiving a defective unit; it’s a reflection of systemic disregard for customers and the quality of the products being sold. For a brand like VTech, which has built a reputation on reliability and functionality, this is deeply disappointing. I cannot recommend this product to anyone. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere for a phone system that meets even the most minimal standards of cleanliness, functionality, and quality control. Funciona muy bien, tiene buen sonido al hora de hacer las llamadas y el altavoz se escucha fuerte y el timbre está suena fuerte también tiene para ajustar el sonido en las llamadas y en el timbre me gustó mucho.

They do not supply the charger with the phones sutiable for Australia, had to find addaptors to suit our three pin system.

Awesome phone set! Having an older Vtech that lasted 15 years, replacing it with a better, improved new look fully featured Vtech was the best decision I ever made. Its features are cool and everything that this phone comes with, it actually works. I'm totally ecstatic with its new features that I love so much that my older phone did not have. The "quiet" mode that keeps the phones silent especially at night without having the disturbance of the ringing but still see the lighting up when you get a call. I also love the fact that this phone is expandable to add one more phone. Now, I have 5! He he. Love that it comes with 10 different ring tones as well, 1 for ever day according to the mood you're in. LoL In all awesome phone and it works very well, so far so good. When you talk the sound is clear and no problem hearing the person. You can even lower the volume just in case you get those loud annoying callers/family that can be way too loud when they speak! Awesome!!!! Another thing I love about this phone that my older one did not have is the "number pad" lights up when you use it and when you get a call. Great if you use it late at night in the dark without having to open the lights in your home! LoL It has the "int" feature that can come in handy, no more shouting in the house like "dinner is ready". Just call the selected phone in the selected room where the person is and talk by phone! Boom, it works! Please believe me when I say this: best Vtech new improved with awesome features you will love! I love it and I' m totally happy with my purchase! Kuddos to the inventor! PS Planning to buy another set with an extra expandable, just in case it doesn't last 15 years. Wink wink!!!
