Helpful uppababy extension with 3 kids!
I searched reviews high and low about the piggyback. I have found so many mixed reviews and I finally broke down and got it because I plan on taking lots of long walks this spring/summer (live in NYS) and have a 4 year old who needs a break every so often. It was easy to install once I watched a you tube how to fit it on just right. It goes up and down easily. Squeeze latch to get it down and use feet or hands to move it up when not in use. My fear was.. it will be too heavy to push with my older kids on there. False! Not as hard as I thought. My 4 year old rides it and I can even go up hill with ease. Now my 6 year old likes to jump on every once in awhile too. He weighs 50 lbs and is tall for his age. It is manageable with him.. obviously a little harder to push and a little more awkward to the point I have to take slightly shorter strides with him on there (I am 5'5) and sometimes do have to walk a little more to the side. With my younger I don't have that issue. 55 lbs is the recommended weight capacity so I'm pretty happy for what it does do even with an older child on there, it's not enough for me to complain. One thing with an older child (my 6 yr old) on there is that if they're leaning a certain way the stroller can lift up so be sure to always have full hands on deck. That's really only happened one time in the 2 month we've used it so far. I was also worried that my shins would hit the piggyback in the up position. I've read some reviews of that and it almost talked me out of getting one aaaand I do not have that issue! My shins have never hit. Does great on sidewalks and streets. We've only used it with my infant daughter facing me in a regular seat with infant insert. The boys hold onto her bumper or the sides and there's room there for all. Overall I'm happy with it and no regrets purchasing it. It does its job and helps out my little people on our adventures and makes things easier for me!

So fun!
My 3 year old son loves this thing, and it keeps him safely nearby while letting him be a "big boy" who does not have to ride in the stroller (unless he wants to) while we walk with the newborn. I would not recommend on hills, and sometimes the weight of the stroller shifts a bit when he steps off depending on how we have the stroller configured (so make sure you are holding the stroller when your child gets off the board). It also isn't the easiest thing to install - thankfully I finally figured out how to fold the stroller without taking the board off. We found it is easiest to use when the handlebar is fully extended and my son is riding inside the handlebar area. I have not had a problem kicking the board as we walk, though my husband has occasionally. Definitely recommend.

No additional stroller
Well made sturdy add on to our stroller that we can now use with our toddler and baby. Can easily pull up when not in use and push down when wanting to use ride along feature. Great so we don’t need to bring along another stroller.

Great purchase
Works really well and our toddler loves it. Gave 4 stars because it makes the weight distribution of the stroller off balanced a bit and can cause tipping if not careful on dips/hills, etc. Other than that, it glides smoothly and I still think it’s beneficial for older kiddos to hop on and off.

worth the money. easy to use, stable, easy to install
I bought this for the second time since the first one was damaged in a car accident. I don't regret buying it again. worth the money. easy to use, stable, easy to install and most importantly, it’s a huge lifesaver when the older child no longer fits in the stroller and he’s tired of walking, he can stand on it and I don’t have to carry the child in my arms. especially when walking in the park or on a trip. and if the child wants to run around on his own, this can be folded up and it doesn’t interfere with me walking with a stroller

Fun and useful!
My daughter loves it! I was worried she is too big for it because she is nearly six years old, but it works perfectly. It is a great way for her to give her legs a break on very long walks. Plus, she can hop off and on as she likes. Its great for Disney! Also, I don't kick it as I walk. Its placement is excellent. It pops off and on easily and stays securely on. It is great for even brisk walks but is not for speed-walking or a light jog. My daughter loves it as she feels like a skateboarder. It is a fun ride to her.

Difficult to Use
I absolutely love Uppababy products for their ease of use, high quality and master engineering. The piggy back attachment, however, is a total flop. Very difficult to attach. My husband and I dread every time we have to add or remove it from our stroller. Once attached, the ease of use is mediocre (relative to all of their other products). And the position on the stroller makes it very hard to push and walk behind - and my husband and I both are tall with long arms. I wanted to love this product but overall, could have done without and would recommend spending your money elsewhere.

Do not bother adding it on
This item is practically useless. There ends up being no where for the child to hold on. It is very impracticle.

Well worth it!
This has been a life saver! My 28 month old loves this while his newborn sister occupies the stroller. It keeps him entertained while I can keep an eye on him and ensure he keeps up with us when walking distances. It’s expensive but if you can afford it, I recommend it.
