I have purchased these book ends before, and they never fail to please. I’m happy that they’re able to withstand the weight of my books. They are affordable and practical with a nice design on the sides.

They hold steady, but they're definitely a teeny bit flimsy. It's really easy to bend them so I recommend this for a smaller stack of books. Otherwise, they are really pretty and work pretty well for what I needed them for.

Very nice bookends. Able to hold up heavy genealogy binders. Design is great - like the tree for the family trees I work with. Durable, perfect size for 12" tall binders. Quality material.

Well made, clean cut and attractive design but I would not consider them heavy duty as stated in the product description (therefore the 4 star rating).Others mentioned they were flimsy so when purchasing them, I bought 2 sets as I planned to hold up my cutting boards. The price was great so we experimented with one set. We removed the felt feet from one holder and with JB Weld, glued it to the other holder. So happy to say it is very sturdy and working as I had hoped!

We have gobs of books and these bookends live all over my house. They are a pretty accent to the books without becoming the show, they are very sturdy and can easilyhold books twice their height, and they are very slim so they don't take up shelf space that can be better filled by tchotchkes.

Just the right about of weight to perfectly stay in place for my bookshelves. I am using these for both larger hardback books as well as paperback ones. I like that these are a little bit taller because it offers a little more stability.

Very pretty in person and actually much heavier than you might think! Holds up a large stack of books.
