Tamarind Candy (Pack of 36) ( New Version )

This was one of my best purchases. I used to eat these so much as a child, and I was so happy to have found them again on Amazon! Instead of paying a dollar each, I can now get 36 for $12! It's a great deal if you already love them. If you want to try out the candy before committing to a 36-pack, try looking for it at local candy shop (e.g. Lolli and Pops) or Mexican store. My boyfriend and I finished these in about a month, so we're going to order another pack :)p.s. -- if you want to get the most out of each of them, pull out the white part to reach the candy that can't be pushed out.

They are very good and saved me alot of money. I will be Buying again.

This is a no from us. Just goes to show the power of reviews works. Must be a nostalgia that made others think so highly of it. It's what I imagine Willy Wonkas wallpaper really tasted like from the realitu of the actors.I threw it in the the mix of Halloween candy. Hope the kids don't retaliate.

My absolute favorite odd little Mexican candy. After watching an episode of good mythical morning my kids wanted to try some Mexican candy, this was one of my favorites when I used to live in Tucson so it made the cut for sure. Can’t go wrong, I love this weird little treat.

I've enjoyed these things for about 25 years. I used to buy them off the ice cream truck when I was a kid and I've been obsessed ever since. If you've never had them before and aren't used to other types of tamarind candy, you might not like these. I wouldn't order a 36 pack unless you've tried them before. Ordering 36 was dangerous for me because I can eat 2-3 at once.

I grew up in Hawaii and so-cal, plus I love to travel, so my favorite flavors are all over the map. I used to get these "candies" from our local ice cream truck in san diego, when I was younger. Now I buy this deal every couple months, I have 2 small children who are well travelled for their age and they try just about any food I ask of them. They LOVE these. The spicy/tangy/sweet flavor is addicting, and the push-pop part is fun for kids.

Except for some dried up product residue being smeared on a couple of the lids, product is great. We had a family get together and I was just careful not to pass out the ones that were smeared. The candy is delicious.

Best price you'll find! Everyone's favorite. Bought for my daughters' communion "fiesta" theme party and they were perfect. Each item is individually wrapped. It made me a little uncomfortable not being able to find an expiration date on the package. It made me think maybe they're so cheap cuz they're expired, but no one complained about the taste so I'll trust they are good. 4 stars for flavor since I didn't get to try.
