great job. Now as for the pulley
I had replaced the front pulley on my bike a while back and although i saw an improvement, i still found myself looking for that next gear. If you drive a Vulcan 900 then you know what i mean. So after doing some research on the forums, i decided to invest in the back pulley to seeIf i could achieve highway speeds without the high rpm's.I ordered the pulley and received an email shortly after informing me that it had been shipped. Within 2 days it had traveled from Texas to Jacksonville FL, where i live. And there it sat for 2 more days, just a few miles from my house. Needless to say i was aggravated, so i wrote an email to Power Sport and complained about it. Now even though there was still well over a week left on the estimated delivery date, the people at Power Sport really stepped up to the plate and by 9:30 that evening had my pulley sitting on my front porch. Don't ask how they did it, but there it was being delivered at 9:30 at night. So 5 stars to them for service, great job.Now as for the pulley, i have to give it another 5 stars. It's high quality and other than a little minor clean up of the thin layer of machine oil used in the manufacturing process, it was in great condition. Installation is a breeze. If you know how to change the back tire, you can install this pulley. Much easier to install than the front pulley. I received it at 9:30 in the evening and by 1130 i had it finished.Another 5 stars goes out for performance. I hit the interstate this morning and for the first time ran 75-80 mph and didn't feel like the engine was going to sling apart. I'm running with a 170/80 rear tire and with the 2 pulleys i was turning a little of 3000 rpm at 75mph. Big deference in the over 4000rpm i was running before. It was nice to just set back in the seat for a change, instead of fighting with the throttle, and just enjoy the Humm of the engine. So if you've been wondering rather or not to change both pulleys, i for one would say go for it. I think you'll find those highway runs a lot more enjoyable. As for regular city driving, i really couldn't tell a reduction in power, if anything, having more throttle time between gear changes seem to improve the performance of the bike.

I'd recommend this combination for anyone who puts on a significant ...
I installed this pulley along with the front about 2 weeks ago on my VN900 Classic, and it has totally changed the character of the bike. I'm no longer constantly hunting for another gear out on the highway, and it's much more relaxed at all speeds. First gear is now a little tall for stop and go traffic but that's rarely an issue for me. Because the gearing is taller acceleration is slightly affected, but it's still satisfactory.I'd recommend this combination for anyone who puts on a significant amount of highway miles. If you ride mainly around town it may not be needed.

Pour quality. Very pour quality. The pulley was bent from the start, but I didn't notice it until I started to investigate all the issues it has.It squeaks a lot, no matter how is the belt adjusted. The belt is rubbing against the side wall of the pulley. The pulley wears out really quick - I had just few rides and it is already shows tear and wear signs. And it is bent - I put the bike on a rack and measured the play - it is about 2-3mm. No wonder why it is squeaking and rubbing. And apparently - all this issues are known and too many people have already complained about it.

the BEST
I purchased both front and rear Baron pulleys and have to say the best bang for your bucks is purchasing these pulleys. very noticeable rpm change. I also cruise with passenger and have no problems with new ratios. with this set up you will drop 550 rpm . its much better cruising at 3000 rpm at 65mph. love them.

works, but belt noise
Be prepared for belts noise, for some reason no one talks about it, until you search the web. And there's no way to get rid of it. I've just learned to live with it, and its still worth the taller gearing.

Does the job.
Well machined part...nice finish and does what it says it will...no more buzz at highway speeds...also bought the front pulley that goes with this one. You have to remember your speedo will now read lower than you are actually going...85kms is now around 100kms.

Arrived with defects. Awful finish. Had to return.
The media could not be loaded. Update:Went through 3 of these. They all have the same problem. Last one was 2 years ago. I doubt they've changed their materials. If they'd just make the outer ring out of steel, it would be fine.Original:Great concept but arrived with major defects making this part questionable for use. I would not mount this part and trust my life to this with 700-800 lbs going down the highway and this spinning at 1200 RPM.1. Dent in one side plate of the pulley which pushes the lip inward about 10°2. Inner side plate has 2 angles, not one flat plane, resulting in a sharp gap in the corner of where the belt goes. I'm not sure if this is by design, but it's 10-12° only one side of the belt. The other side is perpendicular.3. Sharp spike on inner plate from the stamping process. Sloppy work.4. Metal shavings in the box. Come on. Have a little pride or send it through a parts washer.5. Light visible through a gap between the side plate and center pulley section. Again, sloppy machining work.6. All things considered, it seems that one side plate is warped and I think the belt rides on the inner side on this bike, IIRC, which means that the belt would be rubbing against a warped surface with every revolution. I'd imagine this would prematurely wear the belt and maybe the pulley too, and it would probably make some awful shrieking or squeaking noises.

5 Star Performance But, 3 Star Appearance...
It had some damage when it arrived. There was small but, noticeable gouge on the the outside edge. This was the second rear pulley I ordered but, from a different company. The first one had very noticeable damage. The performance in lower r.p.m.'s was an improvement over the factory pulleys. ( I purchased both pulleys, front and rear.) Now the gearing doesn't seem so low in first gear and 5th gear is improved. I would have given 5 stars except for it arriving damaged.

It's machined to perfection
OEM Cycles has to be one of the best Companies I have ever dealt with. I needed some information about the product I was purchasing and also some tracking information. To my surprise they got ahold of me the very next day. They not only gave me just the tracking numbers, but they also went to the site and had all the tracking information all written out all the way from the U.S.A to my house address. The packaging of the item was unreal. The aluminum pulley was better than expected and by designing it with oval type cutouts it not only looks better than my stock pulley, but it's also a bit lighter which adds to the horse Power. It also came way earlier than expected. Thank you for all your help.
