It is certainly the color that is depicted here and it is certainly chunky as described. The two drawbacks for me were that it is acrylic. This is not washable. In the ad it looks like it would be made from knitting, but it is more like colored pantyhose material. It has a pretty powerful chemical smell so not being able to wash it would not make it very snuggly. Disappointed because the look of it is exactly what I wanted I just was not happy with the material.

I'm super happy with this! It's made of acrylic fabric, which is why it's cheaper than the 100-200 dollar wool chunk-knit blankets. Also, even if you buy a similar type of acrylic yarn and knit one yourself, my research showed it'd cost about the same. Plus, this blanket is actually really soft! The inner material of the yarn is like a soft cotton ball, and the exterior is thin but soft as well. Being the rebel I am, I machine-washed it, even though you're not "supposed to." Turned out fine, although it did soak up lots of water and took a long time to dry. It came with a slight chemical smell, so the wash seemed necessary. I also like the color, it seems as-pictured. I think this'll fit on my queen bed nicely. Yay, I'm happy!!

I am very disappointed in this throw. For the price I was expecting something of quality. It is not soft and doesn’t hold it shape (see picture).

Amazon photos don’t adequately show the poor quality of this product. Blanket is made from a strange man made knit OVER STUFFING. In my photos see the white stuffing behind the yarn surface. This is not made of roving. A cheap substitute for a real chunky knit blanket. Definitely not worth the money.

Very comfy blanket. The thickness helps create more warmth than a typical blanket would. Also, sometimes blankets like this are too small or almost square. This has a good size and length to it. Love it!

Love the thickness and size. The material is nice but not as soft as I hoped for and you can see the “stuffing” under the top material.

Thought this was going to be more of a blue grey but it is more baby blue. If a lighter blue is what you are looking for then it should be fine. I didn't even open it since color was off, will be returning it. :(
