Perfect for the tank
Great Item and great seller, fast delivery. Item as described. Warmed the tank water upto the desired temp in no time at all. Temp is set automatically to be between 24-26° C which is great and works well for our guppies.

Robust and works well (albeit for an unintended use!)
Bought this to stop my concrete bird bath from freezing. Previously the 15 cm deep x roughly 30 cm x30 cm birdbath would freeze almost solid in winter. This week we had temperatures at -3 deg C continuously for a several days followed by snow, yet the birdbath water stayed liquid all the time at around +6 deg C.

small, compact but heats really well
Not sure why people are complaining that their heaters aren`t able to heat, mine is working great, too well actually, it is heating to 26 c no problem, it is small and compact and fits just where I want it

Just really bad
Had it in a 17l nano tank in a 20 degree room for 5 days. Couldnt heat it the tank past 22 degrees C. The light would come on for a while then turn off again but never got close to temperature.

Take a long time to heat
This is the second one I have bought and I’m disappointed that it does not keep an even temperature. Admittedly where the tank is housed can get cold but even with two heaters the poor fish are cold and huddle round the heaters.

Not up to the task!
I got this for a 5 gallon tank - as clearly stated on the box this should have been sufficient. After 24 hours it was heating the water to 20c, tank has good circulation and heater was placed next to water pump. I emailed Fluvals customer support team and they told me that the heater wasn't strong enough for that tank, that I needed a 50w. I wrote back to point out the description on the box and didn't get a response. New one on me as I've been using Fluval products without any problems for years...

Cold
Water not getting above 20 degrees despite the red LED light coming on and off. No good for my shrimp.
