ARCAN 3-Ton Ratcheting Jack Stands, Pair, Model ALJS3

Cheap but works. Mine had no issues being imbalanced like the other reviewers. I recently changed both rear strut assemblies and my Highlander was extremely stable and steady throughout the whole process thanks to these jack stands. I wish they had a key to be extra sure that they would be safe but it is still stable enough.

I chose these because they had the highest ride height and safety ratings compared to other brands at this price point. That being said, they are still cheap products. I was tempted to dock a star, but I didn’t. Almost all jack stands at this price point are not perfectly leveled. Only 1 out of the 4 that I bought were noticeable wobbly. 3 out of 4 stands had paint damage likely due to lack of care during shipping and/or handling. This could’ve been worse. You get what you pay for and i’m satisfied.

While from afar this looks like most jack stands on the market, the extra flat parts on the feet/lower corners of this jack stand really add some sturdiness to them. It helps prevent them from sinking into softer pavement/surfaces (but don't go using any jack stands on unstable surfaces). I actually purchased a warehouse returned one and I couldn't tell why it was returned, except perhaps one of them wasn't perfectly level; it had about a millimeter or so of wobble on a flat floor. That's more precision than my paved driveway has, so it works for me! The other one in the box I got was impressively level. While the saddle looks a little deep compared to some other jack stands I've used, it was not an issue once I actually saw how it works with jacking points. I'm quite happy with these and may order another pair later if the two jack stands I had before this purchase are insufficient for holding a vehicle completely off the ground.

I have a 2016 Toyota 4Runner and these had no issues holding the front end up. I did have to use a wooden plate under them because I have a gravel driveway. They are welded very nicely and the metal us thick compared to others I have used from my local parts store. I will be getting 2 more this summer when I upgrade the shocks on the suv. Recommend.

These jack stands are well built. They do what they are designed to do very well. My truck seems quite secure on the stands. I haven't taken them to the top ratchet point but they've been great at the mid point.

These are good standard jack stands. Interesting color. Not sure how the paint will stand up over time, but they look good now.
