Must Have For Deep Watering Plants and Trees
I used these in one of our two Vego planters and not the other. Our San Marzano tomato plants in the container with Deep Drip stakes are a foot taller than the one without. I promptly bought more including 24โ stakes for our fruit trees. I found out that it takes a ton of rain to deep water a tree after planting a new tree after a steady rain. Soil was wet to about 5โ. Thatโs not enough to get deep into the soil in Central Texas. One Bartlett pear tree was struggling because the main root hit limestone and never anchored well. Since I added these stakes, I can pour super food into these stakes to get nutrients where the tree needs them most. In a month, this tree is turning around after years of slowly dwindling. Must use item for healthy growing trees.

Our trees are so happy - THANK YOU
I ordered 30 of these to install a drip line for deep watering my ash trees that surround my entire yard. We are in northern Colorado and are currently having the driest conditions ever on record. Before it got too hot this summer, my husband and I decided we needed to do something for our trees so we can keep them in good spirits. In early April, we spent two days moving rock (that borders every inch of our fence line) and installing these deep drip stakes. We used 1/2 inch drip line hose, with 1/4 inch drip lines, and 1 gallon per hour emitter heads. They're hard to see in the photo because they blend in with the color of our rock, but this was before installation when we were figuring out placement. We ordered an auger separately that attached to our drill, and man, that made the process a breeze. We wouldn't have been able to do the project without that tool since our ground here in Colorado is so tough. In all, we laid 400 feet of drip line, installed 30 stakes, and have four separate lines that we can connect our hose to when we need to water. All of those supplies for the drip line can be found at your local hardware store (Ace, Home Depot, Lowes, etc.), and the cost of those materials are very affordable. The stakes themselves were quite an investment, but I know it was an investment worth making, especially for our dry/high elevation climate. I have already watered our trees over the span of two days, with each of our four runs getting three hours of watering (using a 25 psi regulator on our faucet). Overall, very pleased with the product and ease of installation. Make sure to get the auger though if your ground is tough! These stakes are durable, but you'll save your back by getting that little tool. Thanks, DEEP DRIP!!

Great product for desert landscape.
The challenge I faced in Southern Utah is sandy soil with plenty of rocks below grade. I bought a drill auger and that helped a lot. The plants are growing and the need for additional hand watering is gone. Very sturdy product

Built well, works well
I am very impressed. The plastic is extremely durable, when you hammer these in the cap is designed to not get tight and easy to remove. These simply work like they should.

Thank you
I live in the foothills of Colorado. We have clay soil and with the heat my Elm was dropping all her leaves and no matter how much i watered it wasn't making it to her roots. I bought these July 15th. Today is the 17th and she's exploded in leaves and be growth.

Saved my palm tree
These deep root watering stakes were heaven-sent for my palm tree. My tree was dying last summer because of the extreme heat, run-off, erosion, and lack of water. I put these in and the tree is looking great now, with lots of new growth.
