This thing was a bit of a pain to assemble. Not because it was difficult or confusing, it was just annoying. But you only have to assemble it once. After it’s put together, this rack is a beast and it looks really nice too. I went with the blue one and it holds my dumbbells with no issues or wobbling. I have 2x 15, 20, 25 and 30 pound dumbbells and it supports them no problem. The only complaint is minor - when you’re picking them up or putting them back, the width of the space for your hand and the bar/grip on the dumbbell is kinda tight. It’s a great value for the price, is sturdy and you don’t have to worry about the weight capacity unless you’re trying to load it down with multiple 50+ pound dumbbells.

I purchased this to organize my dumbbells. Prior to this I had them all in a bin and it was very annoying to locate the ones I needed. I got this dumbbell weight rack in the color green - it is a very nice lime green which I am very happy with. Warning that it does have a weird smell when you first open it. Assembling this was relatively easy. I actually referred to a YouTube video (titled: CAP Dumbbell rack Kit with 150 LBS of Dumbbells ....AMAZON DEAL) to make sure I was doing everything correctly, as the directions included are not super clear. You WILL need an adjustable wrench to assemble this; you will not be able to tighten the nuts without a wrench. Use the adjustable wrench (not included) to hold the nuts in place, then spin the screws with the included Allen Wrench until tight. Or vice versa, hold the Allen Wrench to keep the screws in place and spin nuts with the wrench until tight. There is one extra washer included. Currently I have all of my dumbbells from 2lbs to 10lbs. Even the small 2lb weights fit perfectly. At this time I do not have anything heavier than 10lbs, but it appears that there is more than enough spacing on the rack to store the dumbbells! I also appreciate that these come with a rubber liner to hold the weights - these are already installed on the rack, no need to assemble them yourself! Overall I find it to be very sturdy, compact, and does exactly what it's supposed to do! Also if you're like me, you might be wondering if you can store stuff under the A frame... while there is a bar across the bottom, it doesn't stick up very far. So you can store things under there like heavier weights, shoes, accessories, etc. Overall very happy with my purchase and included pics of the green color! I love it!

It is a good product and looks good and is functional. But like many others have complained, it came with a missing nut. I tried to contact customer service through email and there has been no response so far. I tried calling them and goes to VM after suggesting sending an email. I left messages twice but no one returned the call. I am frustrated that people don't do proper quality inspections and then don't stand by their products. I don't want to use an unstable structure that's missing a nut. I hope someone helps me out. UPDATE 12/18 - The day after I posted my review, I got a courteous email response from customer service on 12/18 conveying they have mailed the missing nut. I will provide another update when I receive the nut and complete the assembly. I am glad someone finally responded. UPDATE 12/29 - A set of nuts and a washer was recieved through USPS. Appreciate the company for fulfilling it's commitment to deliver a complete product. Changing the ratiung from 2 stars to a 4 star.

Great quality! easy to install!

I bought this to get my dumbbells off the floor. I went with green just to add a pop of color. It was not the easiest to assemble, use a socket wrench if you have one instead of the included little baby wrench. But that is always the case with items like this, it's always worthwhile to go get the right tools from the toolbox instead of using the ones provided. The actual product is as described, it works well and is very sturdy. Watch your fingers as you put the weights back though. I have small hands, and even so I have smashed my fingers a few times when I'm going too fast. I have (2) of each of the following on my stand: 8s, 10s, 15s, 20s, and 25s. This is 156 pounds and I see no problems with it being able to hold that weight. It looks nice and does the job, and holds plenty of weight. Overall great stand for the price.

As a not terribly handy person, this rack was easy to assemble. However, the instructions are minimal so here are my suggestions: 1. DEFINITELY have a ratchet wrench available. It would take forever without one. 2. Attach sides and top all at one time, but do not tighten bolts until all three pieces are assembled. 3.Tighten bolts a little at a time so that the angles will be right. 4. I accidentally put the base bolts on backwards... the bolt heads should probably be facing outward for a cleaner look. But I'm glad I did because I probably would have scratched the paint. 5. You might want to put wool pads on the bases to protect both the rack and the floor. Plus, they make it easier to move when loaded. Very happy with the product. It feels super sturdy, and I love the blue color.

Bought one a couple of weeks ago. The out-gassing is so bad it's spent most of the time outside trying to get rid of the smell. It's literally poisoning the air. I can feel it in my throat after several minutes just being in the same large room with it. I'd return it but threw away the box as trash day was a day or so after receiving and assembling it. UPDATE: I have washed this thing with baking soda, vinegar, soap and water, and have left it outside for 4 months, bringing it in a day or two ever few weeks to see if the smell has dissipated. It has some but no enough to be able to leave it inside. Within a day the chemical smell permeates the whole room (a large open space), and within two days it's poisoning the air in adjacent rooms. Truly disgusting. Customer service was unhelpful merely saying to wash it, leave it outside, blah, blah, blah. If you do buy it, make sure you return it immediately and not leave it in a box until it is too late like I did.

Excellent quality and very sturdy rack. Will last you a lifetime. I took off one star as it’s a right old faff to assemble. You need a spanner as well as the Allan key which comes with it. It’s also quicker and easier with another pair of hands but I eventually got it together myself.

Item came well packed, with an instruction sheet. The instructions are nowhere near lego quality, but if you have assembled stuff before, it is not rocket size. Took me about 20 mins to carefully self assemble it. If you have 2 persons, can be done in 10 mins. Need a wrench (not included) and Allen key (included). All in, very stable shelf with tiny footprint. If your hands are large, you may find it a bit difficult to take the dumbbells out due to the width of the holder, but overall I am happy with the purchase. I am fitting this rack with a pair of 8 , 10 , 12, 15 and 20 lbs. If you have significantly heavy set of weights from 16 to 40 lbs, this rack will not fit, as the dumbbells will be too big for the vertical space it provides. Hence, i would say, if you have 5 pairs, starting with 6 - 8 lbs and ending with 25 lbs, it should fit fine! After using this for 2 weeks, I realised that you CAN actually fit 20 to 40 lbs dumbbells, if you like. However, you will probably be able to fit just 3 pairs (not 5 pairs), leaving the alternate 'row' free.
