Beautiful and sturdy! We had a couple of doves trying to build a nest and the raptor of our patio. The wind kept blowing the nest apart before they could build it so I ordered this and used two screws to fasten it to the top of the beam. Within a week the doves were back. They added their own twigs in the nest, and they are now nesting! Today two more doves flew to their nest and we’re perching there so we put the second nest up on the other end of the patio so hopefully we’ll have two families! My family and the birds give this product 5+ stars!! Well worth the money

Nothing at all special about this product, but it doesn't need to be. It's string wrapped and coiled hay. My pigeons did take to them immediately. The male started trying to tear up the bottom as he needs to actively nest build to impress his lady so I cut up the 2nd nest to give him material to build with. Since the cuts are the same size and curve he was able to pimp out his nest easily. My only complaint would be that I wish the base was stable. Birds like to perch on the lip of the nest and tip it over. I just used a zip tie to secure it to their cage n' it's stable.

Papa Mourning Dove tried for a couple weeks to build a nest. Sticks would only fall down off the narrow patio beam. I saw someone's post on how they taped this nest to their patio beam due to the same problem. I used HEAVY DUTY Velcro to attach a piece of wood to the patio. I used a metal tie wrap weaved into 2 spots of the nest and then attached the nest around the beam. I threw in a few sticks from the ground into the nest. To give them a hint...The next day......mama bird settled into the nest! Happy ending.

This was perfect for my baby birds. They instantly loved the baskets because they are the perfect size and shape for a pigeon or dove nest. The natural material gave plenty of traction to prevent straddle-leg and the low rim is easy for the birds to poop over the side of and not soil the nest. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was because one of the baskets wasn’t woven as tightly as the other, so it probably won’t last as long. I will buy these again.

My birds won’t get into it… I bought it because I have some doves that come and nest in my home but there nest always falls… so I decided to help them out but they don’t like it

My kids found a hurt dove in our yard that is no longer able to fly she is now our pet. I found this nest for her and she took to it right away it is very easy to clean and drys out very fast in the sun. Would definitely recommend.

One is more like a tray and there other is more of a bowl shape. Mine doesn’t smell bad like some other reviews. It doesn’t have much smell. I’m a little disappointed because the photo shows a basket that is more bowl like than a flat one. The title said two, so I was expecting two of the same item. It feels a bit misleading.
