We love all the One Small Square series! Each covers a different natural habitat/topography. They have vivid illustrations, easy to understand text, and experiment/enrichment ideas included. We used this entire series for our homeschool 3rd grade science program and still did not get to every idea they offered. Caves will definitely help your children learn and feel like they have visited one themselves. (Note: this series of books pairs very nicely with the Scholastic book Instant Habitat Dioramas by the same authors.)

This is an impressive series on ecosystems. I bought the entire set because nothing compares to it.

These One Small Square books are really awesome. I use them with my elementary science classes. I also the their Pond book. The information is not baby stuff, despite the cartoon drawings. Adults will even learn from them!

This book is so much fun and educational. Great for multiple ages and learning styles. It has beautiful pictures and easy to do projects with little preparation, but a lifetime worth of learning!
