After hanging these drapes for a day, I was pleased. They do block all the light (except around the top/sides, depending on how far beyond the window opening the curtains extend). In such, I decided to keep them and put them in the washing machine in cold water, gentle cycle, as instructed, to try and decrease the wrinkling from being folded in the package.BAD IDEA! The rubbery grey background on the drapes started shredding... on the first washing! Such a shame and waste of time to order, hang, wash, and now have to return these. Even if I decided to put up with the ugly shredding, they are no longer blackout where the grey backing came off, so they are no longer functional. Not recommended, especially in white, unless you want to gently work any future grime or dirt by hand.If they would have held up in the wash, my review would have been completely different. They are nice looking curtains with the linen-like texture on the front of the panels. They are white, but do appear a bit grey as the grey backing shades the fabric a bit.

Bought these beautiful red curtains for our guest room in October 2019. The photos are taken in full daylight and the room becomes significantly darker with the curtains. I think they fulfill their function.

Blacks out sun very well, as soon as I open curtains I get blinded by the sun. Keeps room cool and looks very nice. I had to steam them to remove wrinkles since ironing was a pain. Great thick material for price and hang very easily.

They do their intended job, my room looks void of light without my light turned on. (I pressed thumbtacks to the sides to keep them in place)My room feels cooler to boot, Will order again when the need arises.

I bought the first set for my motorhome drivers window. It REALLY kept the RV cooler. I bought this full-length white set for my new home, to hang on the silder door. Very heavy, nice material, and TRUE blackout. I highly recommend these curtains if you need to keep out the light, or add warmth/keep cool.

Perfect actual blackout curtains. The navey blue is exactly what i needed. Dark Blue in color not gray blue.

Nice curtains, blocks light well. They were wrinkled from packagingAnd had a few small holes like cat claw mark?Not noticable when opened but I know the flaws are there. Would buy again. Too much trouble to exchange.Will update after laundering.
