Works great
I shoot in cowboy action competition using black powder cartridges and had a helluva time getting brass clean. This stuff eats away the powder fouling and corrosion fast. I had about 600 salvaged cases I’d picked up, some had been sitting on the ground for a year, and after using this stuff and tumbling in walnut shell media for a few hours, they looked brand new. The quart container cleaned about 1000 cases that were declared unsalvageable by our range master before it started losing potency.Be sure you deprime your cases before using this stuff - the primers will trap a bit of it inside there and eat away the flash hole in the case. Rinse thoroughly with hot water and WEAR RUBBER GLOVES while handling this, and still wash your hands thorough immediately afterwards - it will cause some nasty chemical burns.

This stuff works great!
Works great, and it works fast. You have to keep an eye on it, you can’t walk away for 30 minutes, and you have to follow the directions. I de-prime my brass, uniform out the flash-hole, trim it, soak it in this stuff, wash it, dry it, then I put it in a tumble for a little bit. Brass comes out looking great even if it had been outside for a long time and was heavily tarnished. Tumble time is cut by two-thirds. Keep in mind the stuff can only be used in plastic container and the scoop you use has to be plastic as well. Also, wear some gloves —- the heavy duty nitrile type. I haven’t gotten any of this stuff on me, and don’t want to. Be safe, keep it away from any kids and critters you might want to have around in the future.

Works as advertised
Very easy to use: just soak and slosh it around for a couple minutes.Doesn't make the brass like new but gets it more than serviceably clean. Will order more and would definitely recommend it m

It works safely.
Being cheap,(and broke), I used slightly different than the instructions, ( also because I couldn't come up with a plastic screening method). I used an medium size plastic jug, and did a hand full at a time, with a small amount of fluid, and filtered it occasionally. I got about 1,800, ( 25 year old, neglected) rounds cleaned. Even though eventually the wash would stop working as well, without adding more.

Far better options out there
This cleaner will "bleach" the zinc out of your brass, turning it pink. The directions say nothing about diluting the cleaner, which was surprising. I used a 50/50 solution of Iosso/water, soaking and agitating the cases for a couple of minutes. This was plenty adequate to clean the cases, turning them an unnaturally light shade (where they weren't pink). It works fine if you are a small volume reloader and don't mind pink brass.I bought this because I couldn't locate any Birchwood Casey brass cleaner, which I find far superior. It lasts virtually forever, and afterwards your brass will retain its full, deep golden brass color. In fact, I just learned that citric acid powder is an amazing, inexpensive and chemical free brass cleaner. Highly recommend either of these.

will not work in tumbler
This requires you to remove the primer and then also does not work with stander tumbler. Totally worthless unless you plan to change your whole system.
